I never really cared for games not on my system. I only have a 360 at the mo and I have a backlog of games. I'm sure there are great games on the PC and the PS3 but as long as I have games to play on the 360 it will never bother me. Also being mentioned "in the same breath as Bioshock Infinite" is nothing special. Red Dead, that was special though.
I do envy the free games they get on PS+, even more so now that MS started to do it and gave us shit in comparison.
The only Xbox exclusive I ever wanted was Alan Wake and now I can just get that for my laptop.
Also, I've always despised the XBox controllers. The new XBox One has done nothing ata ll to convince me to move from Sony. I won't buy a PS4 at launch, but I will buy one probably within a year of launch.
Theres a really big game on Playstation atm called The Last of us, are u jealous that it isn't on ur platform? Critics have called it a 'generation defining game' basically in the same breath as Red Dead & Bioshock Infinite. But The Last of us is really something special.
I'm just curious to know how interested u are in this game & if its questioned ur loyalty to ur beloved platform?.
I would imagine that quite a few gamer's have both consoles (especially for the exclusives) and it'll be the same with the next gen consoles. The best of both worlds so to speak. Ive had both consoles since launch but started looking at some of the excellent games for PC that I was missing out on so I bought a high end gaming rig too. Now i'm spoiled for choice
Down side is that it probably cost more than buying an xbox one and PS4 but hey, you get what you pay for don't you.
Anyone with an interest in videogames would wanna play that game.
Wrong. I have an interest in videogames, and I don't want play that game. Not because it's PS3 exclusive and I only
have an Xbox 360, but more because it seems to be yet another game about zombies! I'm sick of zombie games!
The only exception is Saints Row The Third, but at least the zombies in that are restricted to one area of Steelport!
Yes. Sometimes ive woken up in cold sweats knowing that ive made the wrong console choice. I sometimes see ps3 owners in the street with their fancy suits and beautiful women and it makes me feel a little sick inside.
And then there's some of the ps3 owner on here. They make hilarious threads in the xbox section about 'u-turns' that have me he fits of laughter that last for hours. I wish I could be so humorous.
One day I may be worthy of owning a sony console myself.:(

*rubs eyes* It has nothing to do with zombies and plays nothing like a zombie game

OK then ... if you're going to split hairs ... zombie-like creatures infected by a mutated virus, and uninfected humans
that have become cannibals. There's no denying that the aformentioned zombie-like creatures (for argument's sake,
let's just call them what they are ... zombies) are a signifigant enemy in this game, and I for one am bored with
the gaming industry's current obsession with games that have to involve the undead!

This sounds like the argument of somebody who has seen a tiny bit of the game and decided you already don't like it
Left 4 Dead and State of Decay ... I'm not interested in those games either, regardless of the platform(s) they're on.
Aside from the zombie elements of TLOU, the whole premise of the game seems to be centered around an utterly
morbid and depressing storyline about a mutated virus that wipes out almost every living being on the planet.
If this game was an Xbox 360 exclusive instead of PS3 - meh ... I still wouldn't be interested in playing it!
From the epoch-making Halo and Gears, to Forza, to Microsoft exclusives that Sony later got inferior ports of (Bayonetta, Mass Effect 1-2, Bioshock, ect), to the massive number of indie games on XBLA; Microsoft has the best exclusives, and has been the main innovator in console gaming since 2001. Microsoft has had the definitive versions of multiplatform games for two generations now. Xbox One has Titanfall (the best-looking game of the next generation), Sunset Overdrive (Insomniac), Crimson Dragon (Panzer Dragoon 4), Dead Rising 3 and many more exclusives.
And The Last of Us is nowhere near the best game of this generation.
I'm not a huge gamer and could never justify having more than one console. I haven't got the room for more than one anyway.
I went with the PlayStation 3 and have never once regretted my decision. Loved LBP, Uncharted and Warhawk and 'The Last of Us' was the icing on the cake. Personally there hasn't been one Xbox game that I have wanted to play.
The last of us was not a great game it would have been better as a movie. There were some great set pieces but overall its just you and ellie walking from one destination to the next its more about the character development than the action and was just no fun to play at all. I say this as a PS3 owner i don't even have a 360.
Watch Dogs is graphically more impressive than Titanfall (as are Killzone: Shadow Fall and Battelfield 4) and The Division was probably the best looking game at E3 this year.
The last of us is brilliant. It smacks of a modern revamp of resi 4 to me. It has the same feeling and atmosphere but with the added character development and obviously a modern graphical feast.
Although I prefer the 360 generally for gaming, I much prefer Sony's exclusives. I picked up a PS3 largely to play Uncharted and Heavy Rain. Even though I've had it packed away for a while now I know that I'll end up digging it out again to play The Last Of Us which looks to be a fantastic game.
Man, you should see the looks I get as I walk down the street, my Vita popping outt of my pocket (or am I just pleased to see you?), my PS3 permanently under my arm , I even have a selection of PS3 exclusives sewn into the inside of my jacket, like a dodgy watch dealer, which I flash at strangers iun the street: "Look at the exclusives, LOOK AT THEM AND WEEP" And weep they do, through eyes of green! Imagine if you will how they, and you yourself will, feel when I take delivery of my new Xperia phone this week, I WILL HAV ALL DA SONEEEEZ!!!! *
*Post meant for entertainment purposes only, although I do have a PS3, a Vita, and am getting an Xperia this week after years of HTCs.
You go out and buy the console if its making you that green with envy, its not like it'll break the bank.
Don't think I could ever feel envy for a games machine or a game, something like a car I could never afford, yes, but consoles are almost disposable commodities lol

That is a very bold statement.
Personally I thought it was brilliant and 3.4 million units were sold in 3 weeks. Where are you getting your information from?

Its my opinion, i thought it was very much style over substance. Its absolutely beautiful to look at but the gameplay and story just bored me! I felt the same way with Heavy Rain too.

I enjoyed Bioshock Infinite as well

Will have to find time to give it a proper go.
Good dialogue so far though!

Last Of Us is amazing and if like me you have both consoles, i would highly recommend it!

Never judge a book by its cover
I for one am shocked! I never saw this coming at all.
Yea, games about the undead suck, unless it's L4D i imagine.
Or state of decay apparently (though i am interested in that myself)

Exclusives are what really makes consoles, and I always liked Sony's first party output, even when it was in its infancy back in the PS1 days.
