    Clue 1: McCoy era

Clue 2: He was in a film about a life (and death) of a man who secretly sent very rude and suggestive letters to one the Doctor's most famous male companions. (though this wasn't mentioned in the film).

    Correct!

The film I was referring to was Prick Up Your Ears, where he played 'a bit of trade'.

As stated in the rules, if anyone fails to post a new anagram within 24 hours after guessing correctly, I will take a free kick to get things moving.

So here goes, this is an Episode from Doctor Who:

    Forth Feet Of Arse

    ;):D

    The Forest of Fear.

    Okay, two anagrams here...
The first: a one-off guest character from classic era Who -
    ACTUAL MEDIA

The second: someone who played a significant enemy of the Doctor's -
    TOPPLED GROIN

If we could keep things to one anagram at a time that would be great, so to avoid confusion if more than one person guesses both quotes. I would suggest Mccollough posts the next anagram as that was the first anagram guessed correctly. Intrigued by your other anagram, think a few clues may be needed on that one for me personally!

    :)

Cool. McCollough to post. For the other anagram, go back to the Hinchcliffe era...

Amelia Ducat from The Seeds of Doom. But this answer only counts as a curiosity answer. Pah! First one I got too.

That's What I Did On My Christmas Holidays by Sally Sparrow. What else can it be given the category?

I feel like McCollough or TRT1968 should be the ones to post an anagram. If they do, their anagrams can supersede this one.

If not - this is the title of a tv Doctor Who 'story':
    HACKERS TAKE FAGOTT

I'm pretty sure I got that one, so I'm going to put up one.

    "Rani threatens poem next"

    And it's a classic episode.

    Would that be Desperate Measures?

If that's correct, here is a character from classic Who:

    Lazlo's Gambit
