Hi folks,
A stupid question I'm sure, but do you need to enable the component out in a menu somewhere? I have just set up my Sony STR-DA2400es amp to feed a Panasonic PZ85 plasma and I want to run my video signal from the 630H through the amp to get 1080p upscaling. The sound is coming through via the optical link fine, but there is no video being displayed, just a black screen. I couldn't find anything about the component out in any of the menus.
Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?

For future reference, you have to set the scart socket to output in any other mode than RGB, then the component ports activate.
Mmmm.... obscure....
