I was thinking about which bands will be on the next series of The big Reunion. Who ever ends up on it will need to have at least a few top ten singles. So how about M people and Space? Both enjoyable bands with happy songs and loads of Top tens between them

I don't think you get the idea behind the Big Reunion - it's to give has-been crap groups a last gasp chance at media exposure. Space may want that but M People??

Having said that how about The Beatles, The Doors, Joy Division, Nirvana, The Mothers of Invention, The Beach Boys, The Bee Gees, Ian Dury and the Blockheads, The Clash and Take That!

And The Fall - that'll need a massive Travel Lodge!!

I hope you're making some sort of sick joke naming the Bee Gees.

Obviously the post was a joke. I think nearly every group he mentioned have had members die at some point. Well, except Take That of course.!!
    Woooosh.

I've never actually seen the Big Reunion, but I'm guessing the premise is that the bands get back together for the benefit of the TV show? If so then it's not going to work so well with Space since they have an album coming out soon and are currently touring to promote it :P

lol I do get the " idea" as you call it. M People have been touring for years trying to make a comeback.

Neither - now how about an answer or was the question too difficult. If it is please let me know or send me a message and I'll simplify it for you.

I was going to say that Space were just one-hit wonders but then realised I was thinking of Babylon Zoo because they had a hit with "Spaceman"! I then looked up Space's discography and thought "Oh, that's Space!".

They could mean Space from around 1977 who did Magic Fly:D

Space have been reunited for about 18 months, just finished a uk tour and have a new album out soon.

In fact, the 'reunion' is two longstanding members from before and three new members, so Im not sure it would count anyway.

All of the bands mentioned in that post have a dead member/members, why have you singled out the Bee Gees?

As I said, though I did point out that all of Take That are alive and kicking :)
