Perhaps it'll only be the rest of the DS Glasgow contingent who will understand this - but yesterday Glasgow basked in sunshine - and there is was, the first "taps aff" of the year parading down Buchanan Street
It was only about 9 or 10 friggin degrees. Craziness.

I'm guessing this is a reference to bare chested men or the wearing of shorts?

Not from Glasgow, I'm in Aberdeenshire, but yes, its always funny when on the first days of sunny weather up here, it has everyone going about in t shirts, vest tops etc. Like you say its still cold even if the sun is out.:D:D
I'm still wearing my winter coat:)

That's a misconception. You need to smell your best when up before a judge.

We in Northern Ireland are familiar with this as well. First crack of sunshine and the wee fella's are sauntering down the street with their tshirts over their shoulder :D

It's usually a sign of neddery. Accompanied by a baseball cap with the peak at a 90 degree angle, and trackies tucked into mockit 'white' socks.

Has to be said though, neds are brilliant to listen to. They are usually very funny people when you get past the nasal whine and constant swearing :)
