It's a year today since Stella Price departed the cobbles for pastures new. ITV have cleared their schedules today to commemorate the iconic character and renamed their various network channels after her for the day, among them StellaBee and StellaEncore. It's sure to be a ratings success after last year's Stella Day peaked at over 7 million.

    2/4/15
6:00 - Good Morning UK from Stella Price

Stella takes us through her morning routine and brightens up the nation with her easy exercises, quick wit and beauty. Expect explosions as Eva Price features in lyrca for a special Ms. Motivator and Stella will be surprising one local viewer with a big cash prize presented by her mother, Gloria.

    8:30 - Stella
Stella talks to some other stars of Coronation St. and asks them to describe how life on the Street hasn't been the same since she left and how they haven't removed her name from the staff toilet door.

    9:30- The Stella Price Show

    12:30 - Loose Stella
with guests Ghost Toni, Sunita's twin sister who wears glasses and Fake Gavin.

Stella reveals more about bedding Les Battersby. Giddy Bitch UK 2014 will be in the studio as the final 3 Giddy bitches battle it out for the 2015 title.

1:30- The Lunchtime news from Stella's old living room in No.13

Stella talks us through the biggest news stories of the day as well as showing a preview of tomorrow's Corrie and how crap it has become since she has left. She will also take to the Street to find out why JennyBradley can't just be called Jenny??

2:00 - The Real Deal with Stell
Stella scours the Street for antiques hoping to make herself some extra cash as it hasn't been easy for Our Stell since leaving the show whilst also trying not to be caught by the residents.

3:00 - The Price is Right
A special edition of the popular gameshow presented by Stella Price. Tracy, Todd and Anna are guests as they donate all their winnings reluctantly to Stella.

    4:00 - Ready Steady Stella 2.0
Stella has a cook -off with Mary Taylor, who'll be victorious? There's outrage when someone is accused of sabotage. Norris plays referee between the pair as he commentates on their respective techniques and dishes.

5:00 - Stella in Strangeways Revisited

Stella watches episodes of Corrie that have been broadcast since her departure. She holds no punches and gives some scathing reviews of Neil on the pub roof, Yasmeen, the Nazir chickens, Des Lennis, Camp Callum and Grumpy Cat Steve,

    9:00 - Stellanation Street

A double episode to remind viewers how good Storrie used to be. Stella has chosen her two favourite episodes to be broadcast again to the nation. Episode One sees her tackle Slutnita and call her a Giddy bitch. Episode Two is her trying to escape from the pub fire including the loss of our Toni. A warning will be shown before the second episode to highlight the distress it may cause and a special Stella helpline will pop up at the bottom of your screen. Stella will try her best to answer all calls.

    10:00- Stella's News

Stella ends an emotional day with a speech to the nation akin to the Queen's Christmas Day speech where she talks about her future plans and thanks all her fans and friends/family.

    10:30- #AskOurStella Debate

Corrie's biggest fans will have the chance to take part in a special debate using the special twitter hashtag #AskOurStella. Stella will host from the back room (EEK) and ask viewers to give ideas on how Corrie can be saved. The Hat will also be in the hotseat and is prepared for a right Northern grilling.

Kym Marsh refused to comment but sources say that she has no plans to let Stella back in the pub.

    :D:D:D:D:D Absolutely fabulous Dullag!

    She's 'Stell' got it!!

Mark my words, t'Cobbles would be a different place if Our Beige Wonder was still there! NotHitlerTodd wouldn't be dreaming up evil schemes because of his (microscopic) scar. No Stella would have taken him in t'back and quelled his insecurities at being a hideous disfigured freak. Probably cured it to, with a magic touch, the scar would have glowed a second then vanished.

And Gail, she wouldn't be running around like a blue arsed fly trying to keep DesLennis from finding out that his real son is actually his fake son and that his fake son loves him more than his real son did so it doesn't really matter that his real son is dead and his fake son is alive because the fake son is a better son than the real son could ever be. No, because Our Stella would first of all given Gail a shoulder to cry on, listening to her woes, secondly, calmly explained everything to Des Lennis (very calmly because the shock could kill him of course) and thirdly, magically have cured Des's dicky ticker by conveniently having a newly dead relative whose heart he could have, no quibbles, and she even personally knew the surgeon after helping him with something, so he owes her a favour, meaning Des will be tucking into fish and chips by the end of the week. At his side would be no longer FakeGavin, as SuperStell will have also sorted out the slight inconvenience of the false identity.

Steve wouldn't be depressed and doomed to spend eternity in (Miss) Hell either. Stella would have told him to come through t'back, given him some wise words and offered him the number of a hitman to deal with the cause of all his problems.

Poor Faye would certainly not be having a baby in an empty, cold, dark flat, with nobody there for her except a boy who shovels in food like an oversized hamster. Stell would have made good and sure the poor love was well taken care of and the back room of the Rovers suitably prepared and equipped for the birth. Of course she would have noticed that Faye was actually pregnant too, instead of concentrating on thinking of herself and her Phelan's.

Talking of which, Anna and Owen's money troubles would have been nonexistent. Stella would have overheard them in the pub talking about their lack of money and instantly offered Owen a job keeping the cellar in order, where he could bully barrels, crates and bottles into their place to his hearts content.

Bethany would be behaving herself after Stella gave her a thorough talking to, explaining she was a young mum and knows how hard it is, so Bethany should let up on hers. Thoroughly ashamed at herself, Beth would soon turn into a decent well mannered girl, though sadly, even the legendary Stella couldn't make Beth look more school pass than bus pass age. David too would be better off after Stella gave him some wise words about Kylie being nowt but trouble and better off as far away as possible. Also to forget about that ungrateful little brat Max, let him keep his awful hat and his equally awful father, then tell them both to bog off into the sunset, and concentrate on his real kid, the forgotten one, Whatsername.

And what of Tina, her best barmaid? No way would she be rusting in peace. St Ella would probably have been walking past the builders yard that night, heard Tina and Rob arguing and miraculously caught Tina as she fell. Then she would have given Cheater Peter a piece of her mind about his straying, telling him how a man once cheated on her and how bad it made her feel. Peter would soon have seen the errors of his ways and happily settled with Carla, no longer a sozzled boozebag after Our Stella cured him of his alcoholism single handedly. The other hand was no doubt being used to fix Nick's broken brain.

As for The Hat, no way would Our Stell sit back and watch the street she built brick by brick be destroyed in front of her, wrecking and changing the characters she has known for God knows how many years! The ones that she has helped tirelessly with any problems they ever had for as long as she can remember! The ones who look to her as their heaven sent leader! Good god no, up them steps to ITV HQ she'd march and tell them in no uncertain terms that if The Hat was not removed from his position by the end of the day, she'd prize him out out of that producer's chair herself with a crowbar. Yep, the Cobbles would be a far better place if Stella Price was still there - no doubt about it.

Brilliant Collie. Love it. :):D Thanks.

The Bring Back Stella campaign starts here. The Street isn't the same without her sage advice and look at the state all the residents have got themselves into in her absence. Not to mention the upcoming story with Curly Si and Leanne.

Stella day has been a resounding success and there's talk of it being made an annual event. Stellabox is already being tipped for a BAFTA in 2016 and the #AskOurStella debate was a resounding success and almost broke twitter. It was top worldwide trend and #InTheBackRoom was trending all day. Many callers were calling for her to succeed Blackburn when he leaves for Hollyoaks in September. Stella asked The Hat if he would consider a LIVE return for Stella in September to sort out the Street. He said he is busy deciding what to have for lunch tomorrow but he'll definitely put it into the Hat along with the cougar Emily story.

Thanks to a previous post in this thread about Stella being a judge on 'The Stella Factor', I always want to refer to Dermot O'Leary as 'Dermot O'Stellary'!

I could never figure out what happened with Stella, she went from main character to glorified extra, did she leave on bad terms?

Stuart Blackburn happened to her. He decided he wanted Liz back behind that bar so Stella was ousted and became, like you say, a glorified extra. No wonder Michelle Collins left, couldn't have been very nice featuring very heavily (too heavily in fact) to barely featuring at all!

Shame, I quite liked Stella whereas Liz can often do my bloomin' head in!

WHY was Liz ever brought back?

What exactly has this waste of a character brought to the street, since her return, other than regress the show?

    Pointless and boring!

Following last month's successful "Where on earth is Stella Price?" pledge, the Daily Stel can exclusively reveal that the former landlady will return to Britain with sights on Westminster.

Ms Price intends to stand for Beige, a party she founded once she quit Weatherfield as she was "disillusioned" with politics. If elected by the Weatherfield constituency, she vows to cut waiting times at Audrey's salon and ban zero-hour contracts at the knicker factory.

Launching her manifesto at the Rovers backroom, St Stella said: "Cameron, Clegg, Miliband - they're all the same, aren't they? All mouth and no trousers. British politics needs a shakeup. This place needs a shakeup."

Several Corrie residents are said to be delighted by news of Ms Price's comeback.

A spokesman for Kym Hooper declined to comment; when asked if she would vote for Beige he replied, "When pigs fly, or Sean can act".
