Neither. I am taking refuge in my garden all day!
And if it rains I shall have a Spiral DVD fest as I missed the first two series and want to catch up.
I shall watch the news at night and that is it.

But for the rest of you who wish to wallow - enjoy.

Why are so many people trying to act cool by saying they won't watch it?

There won't be ad breaks on ITV or Sky.

No idea but it's getting tiresome now especially seeing as 'neither' wasn't even an option in the question. The OP was obviously aiming the question at those who are interested. Anyway I'll be watching BBC and flicking occasionally to Sky - but yes 90% of the time will be with the Beeb. ITV doesn't even factor as an option for me particularly as Schofield is an anchor.

A national event such as this? There is only one place to watch it. The BBC of course! I wouldn't dream of watching it on Sky! That awful Kay Burley sticking her snout in. No thanks. Give me Clare Balding and Hew Edwards anyday!

ITV might be a bit looser and have better guests but I'm sticking with the BBC.

    BBC.

I detest Philip Schofield and he's the tosser in charge of the ITV coverage.

The vast majority of people that do watch it will watch it on the BBC. It's just one of those things.

And the usual reason they give is no adverts, when there aren't any on ITV. In 1981, ITV went the whole day for Charles and Diana's wedding, about nine hours, without a break.

It's not the adverts that are the problem, it's that ITV just suck at this kind of programming. Of course I also think the BBC presenting team is pretty terrible for this (Huw Edwards and his belief that we need to listen to him talking over the top of what's going on..) but they're still going to do a better job.

I'll probably flick between the two during the build-up but I'll stick with the BBC for the service.

I'll probably flick between all the channels and see how each of them are presenting it and find one that suits. I'm home alone tomorrow, so I shall happily hog the tv and facebook without my hubby moaning about it. :D

I was planning to watch it on ITV as I'd naturally assumed Ant & Dec would have been presenting it, but I'll probably stick with BBC now knowing that.

BBC - I don't dislike Phillip Schofield at all, but I don't think he's the right choice to anchor the wedding coverage on ITV, the way he's been carrying on you'd think it was HIM marrying Kate and not William.

I still think the BBC has the edge with covering these events. That said I won't watch all of it, just the service - I don't care about the run up or the afterwards, just want to see her dress and the service and that will do me.
