Anyone else think that Mark Benton's character, Francis, is made up to look slightly like Trevor Nunn?

ETA: with shorter hair than he has nowadays.

Hmm - not exactly the most appropriate numbers on the PRS return...

Considering his meagre talent Bishop has gone from obscurity to stardom in a disgustingly short time, at least Sheridan has served her time in dodgy sit-coms and cheesy musical theatre.

A right old cliche fest, are all theatre directors camp and call everyone sweetie and darling ?

Thank you to everyone who corrected my sad lack of correctly remembering that The Clash recorded 'London's calling'. :o

Celebrity Sleighride coming to ITV in December 2013???

Wouldn't put it past ITV to do it. Probably will have Donna from Emmerdale, one of B*Witched, and Judith Chalmers

i enjoyed that very funny , very light and perfect for xmas. It could be repeated for years, which no doubt ITV will do and then show it in April aswell.

John Bishop wrote it very well , nice jokes included

I thought that as soon as I heard it mentioned! I actually expected him to mention ITV :D

Nothing special, but I quite enjoyed Panto, just a lighthearted bit of fun.

I thoroughly enjoyed that, and it was nice that he cast his real son to play his son in this. :D

It was a nice change from the usual drama/trash etc that can be on the t.v.

Sheridan Smith is the only thing that's keeping me watching. She looks stunning.

    Agreed.

I thought i was going to go blind when she was walked on in her dressing room. Damn that towel !!

I enjoyed it, thought it was appropriately quite fun and made me laugh a few times.

Never really noticed Sheridan Smith before this Christmas, but she's been good in the things I've seen her in this week.

Not to mention being cute as hell on Jonathan Ross.

Much better than I thought it was going to be. The best thing on ITV over Christmas!
