why do people like Jim???

I don't get why people love Jim and are hating Linda?? I'm not saying linda was an angel and she did wind him up a lot but I don't think jim was a victim as people are making out especially as he made sexist comments about women and then brought up Linda's husband Brian. I have lost people who were absolutely everything to me so I know what its like and you never EVER bring them up in arguments as its the lowest you can go!! Why is everyone wanting sexist Jim to win????

    It seems that people think he's been picked on and he can't cope so it's a sympathy vote.

    I get that Jim has constantly and over and over again said that people like Luisa and Linda keep getting at him - but I agree with most of the other housemates in that it's Jim who starts the strife with his innocent sounding little comments.

    He's really attention seeking with his poor little me act.

    It would be a strange and weird world if we all liked the same people. I like people that some of my friends don't. Fact of life, I don't have to justify it to them, they respect my point of view.

    Jim is clear favourite to win,look at the love on Fb and twitter he is also odds on favourite to win and leading every poll just get over it

    But this is a forum to discuss our views if people cant ask you why you come to your point of view you are in the wrong place.

    I don't like him, and I can't for the life for me believe that the demographics of CBB has changed so much as to be attracting viewers that love Jim Davidson. Which gives us two options:

    a) Pre-arranged result
    b) call-centre instructed to call his number

    I said that to somebody today. His fans seem to be people who seem to have known of him for decades and apparently don't mind if he's a racist, sexist, tax evading wife beater - whereas his detractors tend on the whole to be those who had never heard of him before this and have never seen anything like it.

    I only know any historical bad stuff about him from here!

    I have no idea, but I do think the demographic of digital spy forums and in fact the whole internet has changed in the last few years.

    Twitter is very different from the early days for example.

    I don't want him to win but I understand why others do, he's funny, often charming, can play the other HMs quite easily.

    What annoys me is the hero status he has on here with some, with the double standards, whereby he can be applauded for behViour others are slated for.
