Two days ago I moved my computer and decided to plug my webcam back in. It was fine until today when I kept getting the blue screen of death. Now, it's not the same error message whenever I get it.
At first it was saying Irql-not_less_than_equal which indicated a driver problem so I unistalled the drivers for the web cam, booted back up and got the blue screen again, so closed down the computer and plugged the webcam back in to restore the driver which still didn't work. So I decided to delete all the programmes that weren't really used anymore and search for any solutions on the laptop.
Well, now I'm also getting messages saying there is a problem with memory and I can't do a system restore even though I have 19.6 gb free on a 291gb hdd.
I've found programmes that are meant to fix these problems, but I can't run them in safe mode.
Have I f*cked it?#
Thanks in advance

Anyway I reckon your hard drive may have packed up, check event viewer for disk errors (the red ones : bad blocks), sort them by source it's easier.
Can't log on because of blue screen, try safe mode : press F8 when PC is still booting up.
For ram problems memtest is your mate.
I'm never plugging that damn thing in again!
Thanks for your advice
