Listening to a play with the brilliant Bill Nighy in, made me think of some wonderful voices that I've always loved.
Actors Philip Jackson, John Castle and Bill are my favourites (yes I do listen to a lot of radio drama!), as well as John Hurt, Richard Burton and James Mason. Others include Clive James and Alan Whicker.
If Bill Nighy told me the moon was made of cheese, I'd not only believe him, I'd want to go there with him! His voice is so convincing, whatever he says!
Who are your favourites?

I worked with someone who had the same voice but unfortunately looked like Mr Muscle
Lance Henriksen
Richard Burton
Sean Pertwee
Apologies for the sexism but I'm struggling to think of an outstanding female speaking voice atm.
EDIT: Just thought...Mariella Frostrup
I like Stephen Fry, Delroy Lindo, Morgan Freeman, James Earl Jones, Denzel Washington (he has a bit of that Baltimore swagger!), Patrick Stewart, the guy who was Gandalf (I have pregnancy brain and can't think)-- basically any rich and honeyed or warm treacle tone. I like southern USA male acccents, GW Bush's fake Texan accent excluded.
I think PC Dale Smith from the Bill sounds sexy in that bit of rough way!
Jason Statham
Stephen Graham
Francesco from 'Francesco's Mediterranean Voyage'
Neil Oliver
Sawyer from 'Lost'
Desmond from 'Lost'
Richard Burton
Jack Nicholson
there are more but can't think at the moment.
Whether it's the hilarious commentary on Little Britain or something more serious. His voice just makes me smile.
Yes
Vin Diesel has a sexy voice also.
I second Alan Rickman, James Earl Jones, George Clooney and Tom Baker.
Among the ladies, Deborah Kerr had such a sweet gentle voice.
The most famous voice in Denmark was Thomas Winding, a children's programme host and producer. His voice was legendary. He deserves a mention even if I'm the only one who knows him:D
Richard Armitage........... have you heard him read the Bedtime hour on Cbeebies !!!!!!!!!!
and I'll have Ray LaMontagne sing to me. I'm a happy bunny now
