don't get the shay situation sorry.. being thick.. does she live at home or not?
Which dad died? Her mum doesn't like her hubbie?
Shay lives with Sunny's family, she's in a seperate room to her husband Sonny.
I wonder what Tindy's really upto, sneaking in early in the morning
I'll have to look a their profiles again, work out what names are nicknames and what is everyone's real names.
Shay looked really sad just there Mum/Paula's unwell and her brother didn't reply to the text.
Oh he's replied now.
On the bright side at least Sunny hasn't taken after his Dad or is it Father in law. Demanding this that and the third thing.
Sunny and Shay are cool and I like that they are having a proper Indian wedding, that's nice.
Father though ...iccck. Sorry but it's not normal or nice to treat women as he does. But like I said the lovely bright side is that even raised alongside him they do not have his attitude which is cool. They are keeping their culture without believeing women can be treated as lower. Huge respect to them for managing a balance.

He isn't treating her as lower! That's what you aren't getting!

Phones her to demand tea, demands this, demands that. The comments about her and why he married her. If you asked him "are women lower than men" he'd say without hesitation "yes" It's as obvious as the fact a skunk can make a pong.
She's so used to it and was probably raised in such a way to think it's ok. Doesn't mean it is ok in todays day and age. Regardless of what culture anyone is from.
Horrible to see the caste system causing this upset, I hope it works out.
I think that was a slight red herring that the mother threw in there, whilst they might not have liked the fact that he was from a different caste, i think the fact that she is educated and he is not would have been more of a concern to her family, i have come across this often....
Brilliant telly, this. I think the mum is my favourite so far, although I'm looking foward to meeting the daughter and son-in-law (ex-Bollywood star)
Maybe I'm remembering wrongly, but I don't recall this much interview / talk to camera stuff in the last series. Not in any way a criticism, just an observation.

Brilliant, loving this programme!
He's cute, I can't believe he hasn't had a girlfriend.
Hmm - don't think so. Not yet...
