Apparently they're making ITV1 HD regional now, so does anyone know which areas are getting a region? I assume it's not all 15 of them..

I hope there's an ITV1 Wales HD.

It was only going to be four. When were the other two announced?

Most people's EPG's show regional news on ITV1 HD from this Thursday (but a lot of people seem to have the wrong region showing)

It could be they are going to make the central region the default FTV service without a card, same as SD. The tv guide is probably showing the info for the region the current service you receive will become

    Doubt it.

People in Manchester are getting Central. We are in North Wales and have Granada Reports showing for Thursday on ITV 1 HD.

Ours is correct (as there is no Wales HD region so we would be part of the Granada one as this is the other freeview region available locally).

But self evidently someone in Manchester (where Granada is based!) would not default to Central in Birmingham under any circumstances other than an EPG mistake.

    Northumberland is getting London Tonight

Which might actually be more relevant than Tyne Tees...

ITV has got a Licence for six ITV HD Regions
    from Ofcom, the Regulator

    They will launch progressively (Slowly)
starting with ITV London, then the rest, it should be
finished by the end of June this year according
to TV Magazines, Newspapers and websites
For more information see the ITV HD website

I am Quoting this from their website
Which regions will be represented on ITV1 HD?
We will launch with the London region followed by a roll out of regions in stages - London, North, Central, South East by June 2010.
It's worth checking with each digital HD TV provider before signing up for their service that they can provide digital TV services to your area

North Yorks here and showing Central. This too might actually be more relevant than Tyne Tees.

Mine had 'Granada Reports' on Thursday and Friday - but now back on 'London Tonight'

Monday is still showing Granada Reports but Tuesday (and in the last hour) next Wednesday have been added as London Tonight.

So seems like either an EPG error or they have postponed the launch.

On Tuesday my EPG was correctly showing Meridian Tonight for Thursday now it's changed back to London Tonight so maybe it has been posponed.
