Kenneth Williams
Bernard Manning
Anneka Rice
Keith Harris
Arthur Scargill
Michael Aspel
Valerie Singleton

any other suggestions?

Haha I used to crack up laughing at Olive (On the buses), I wonder what she was really like.

Morcame & Wise would have been brilliant, imagine the pranks!

The problem is, people are listing names of people whose careers were going well in the 80s, like the Dirty Den man and Annie Lennox. They wouldn't have touched BB with a barge pole! It would more likely have been singers who'd had a couple of minor hits in the late 60s hoping to make a comeback.

I was going to say Freddie too but may be he would be a bit before his time for BB, as being gay still had a shock value then.

If it was after Den was killed off maybe it would have taken most of the budget but I think they could have got him.

I never realised Martin's Kemp wife was a WHAM girl.

To add to the list maybe a former Doctor Who or companion.

    What about the American

Again not one to relevant maybe one of the Dukes Of Hazzard or early enough into the 80's the up and coming Sly Stallone or Arnie Schwarzenegger
