Wasn't Sarah-Louise married/partner to Todd and Jason? Is one of them the father of Bethany?

HUGE Coronation Street Spoilers: Steve to lose the Rovers? Sarah-Louise Platt to fall for bad lad Callum? And more…

In a video on Coronation Street’s official website, the show’s Executive Producer Stuart Blackburn has teased what’s coming up on the show for the next few months, and he dropped some very juicy spoilers, so if you don’t want to know, don’t read on any further…

Blackburn began by revealing that although Steve McDonald is finally getting support and help as he copes with his depression, and though he and Michelle Connor will soon be planning a summer wedding, there’s upset ahead when it seems that Steve could lose the Rovers.

As viewers saw over Christmas, Steve’s spending was out of control, however, as we’ll learn in upcoming episodes, while Steve was busy overspending – and throwing money at getting his car fixed – he wasn’t keeping up with bills at the pub.

Stuart explained, “He wasn’t paying the VAT bills and he wasn’t paying the taxes…

“It looks like they could lose the Rovers. They just don’t have the money.”

But as ever, Toxic Tracy Barlow is on hand to exploit Steve’s misery, and it seems she could be set to talk Tony into buying the pub for her…

Elsewhere, and the Platt family are in for yet more tough times when first, Michael Rodwell’s real son turns up on the cobbles, though as Michael is in hospital recovering from heart surgery, his fiancé Gail will insist that Andy, who has been masquerading as Michael’s son Gavin, keep up the pretence for now.

But as Blackburn explained, Michael’s real son “hates his father”, and he will blackmail Gail, who stoically manages to keep a brave face on things so Michael won’t be unduly stressed.

By then, Sarah-Louise Platt and her teen daughter Bethany will be back on the cobbles too, however, in a brilliant plot twist, it seems that Callum and Sarah are set to become an item^_^, which will of course be devastating for David, given that he wants Callum as far away from Max as possible…

    Sarah and Todd's baby died.:(

Bethany's father was Neil Fearns; he died a few years later.

Poor old Steve. He's been through quite enough from domestic mental abuse from his mother and his girlfriend.

Callum and Sarah - could be interesting; Sarah and David never did get on.;-)

    My quoting went wrong.

When Katy finds Faye bunking off school, she explains to Katy how she's being bullied as the girls say she's fat. She also admits to buying cigarettes with her dinner money in the hope they'll make her lose weight. Katy's horrified. Worried about Faye, Anna and Owen quiz Craig. Under pressure, Craig reveals she's bunking off because she's being bullied. They confront Faye but, upset, she rushes to her room. Anna, Owen, Katy and Izzy discuss Faye's situation. Then they're interrupted by the door. Owen answers it and is horrified to find his ex-wife Linda on the doorstep!

Ken and Liz make plans for Amy's birthday party and agree that a family get together will be good for Steve. Steve presents a delighted Amy with a pair of roller boots. But when Steve and Michelle suggest it's time they set off for her birthday meal, Amy refuses to go.

Gavin's consumed with guilt as he visits Michael in hospital. Meanwhile, at Michael's bedside, Gail tells him she can't imagine life without him and suggests they get married as soon as they can.

Sally's horrified when one of Sharif's chickens escapes into her garden.

    8:30

Linda pushes her way in and introduces herself. Katy is stunned to realise Linda is her mother and Linda is shocked to see that Izzy's in a wheelchair but Izzy angrily points out that had she not abandoned them, she'd have known. Linda tries to defend herself but seeing how upset the girls are, Anna insists she leaves. Handing Katy her phone number, Linda heads to the door, accusing Owen of lying to the girls and letting them believe she didn't want anything to do with them. Knowing she's right, Owen conceals his guilt.

Under pressure from Tracy and Ken, Amy reluctantly agrees to go for her birthday meal with Steve and Michelle. Steve's clearly cheered by this and Liz, Michelle and Tracy are pleased to see a flash of the old Steve. Steve then thanks Michelle for a lovely evening and kisses her.

Concerned that Gail's taking on too much, Audrey and Nick offer to organise her wedding for her.

Dev enthuses about his trip to Mumbai and is looking forward to the charity work but Julie begs him not to go, admitting she'll miss him terribly. Sharif's thrilled to find his hens have laid their first egg but is all as it seems?

    Wednesday 11th February

Steve is upbeat ahead of his shift at Streetcars but Michelle wonders if he's pushing himself too hard. While he works on the switch in the cab office, the pressure of the job and Andrea's incessant wittering soon take their toll and he leaves early. Returning to the pub, Steve discovers he mixed up the barrels when he changed them earlier and, feeling utterly useless, he heads off to bed. Steve admits to Michelle how tough a day it's been. Michelle is sympathetic, realising Steve faces a long road to recovery.

Izzy refuses to meet with Linda but, intrigued to hear what she has to say, Katy secretly invites her over to the flat. Linda assures Katy she's always loved both she and Izzy, that she made mistakes and just wants a chance to put things right. As Katy sees Linda out, Owen spots them and angrily heads over.

Dev asks Mary if she'll step in and look after the children whilst he's away. Mary's flattered and assures Dev she won't let him down. But will Julie feel pushed out?

Sharif is thrilled to find more eggs in the hen coop. :kitty:

Owen warns Linda to stay away from him and the girls. Linda insists she has a right to know her own daughters. When Owen and Linda row, Linda makes it clear she's not going to give up without a fight. But, back at home, Owen tells Izzy and Katy that he sent Linda packing and she won't be bothering them again. Meanwhile, Faye confides in Craig that despite putting herself on a diet, she's still gaining weight. Craig wonders if she's pregnant. Horrified by the thought, Faye takes a pregnancy test. Faye is shocked to the core as the test proves positive!

Dev prepares for his trip; Julie and Mary fuss over him. Mary's unimpressed to hear that Julie will be moving into No.7 and Sophie's even less impressed when Julie calls in the shop and explains that, in Dev's absence, she's now her boss. Sophie and Mary complain to Dev about Julie.

Steve reveals to Liz that he's planning to cook a lovely meal for Michelle.

Tony shows Eva some more property details of potential flats for she and Jason. David continues to search the missing persons websites in a desperate attempt to find Kylie.

    8:30

Owen, Anna and Faye attend the school art exhibition. Faye feels sick with anxiety, faced with constant reminders of her own awful situation. When Anna tries to hug Faye, Faye recoils, worried that Anna will detect her baby bump. Anna's hurt as Faye confides in Craig how scared she is at the thought of having a baby and petrified that Anna will disown her.

As Dev prepares to leave, Mary and Sophie demand that he lay down some ground rules to Julie. Dev nervously suggests that Mary should be in charge of the children, Sophie the shop and that Julie should help out where necessary. How will Julie react to this as Dev gets an emotional send off?

Steve surprises Michelle with a romantic dinner in the back room of the Rovers. Michelle is touched, despite it not going quite as planned.

Callum meets up with Katy in the Rovers. Spotting David, he asks him when he can next see Max. David tells him never. But Callum won't take no for an answer and warns David he's not heard the last of him. Sean and Billy share a kiss as they join Eva for her birthday dinner in the bistro.

The actress looks about eight years old in the second picture.

And I don't agree with what the producer person said about Sarah-Louise.

    Monday 16th February:
    7:30

Callum calls in at the salon, passing David a package and insisting he looks after it for the day. Feeling threatened, David has no choice but to agree. Sally watches, intrigued, before telling Gail about the fracas and how he forced David to accept a strange package. Finding Callum's package, Gail tells Sally the man's a drug dealer and she's taking it to the police station. When Callum calls at No.8 for his package, David's baffled to discover it's gone.

Feeling vulnerable, Faye tells Gary, Izzy and Katy they mustn't let Linda destroy the family. They assure her that won't happen. But when the family catch Katy sharing a drink with Linda before she heads back to Portugal, they're horrified. Izzy rips into Linda calling her a disgrace. Linda snaps and tells Owen it's time the girls found out the truth.

When Jason confides in Todd how he's planning a surprise trip to New York for Eva, a conniving Todd encourages Jason to call at Tony's flat to discuss it with him, hoping he might catch Eva and Tony together discussing houses.

Clearly in a good mood, Kevin tells Tyrone and Luke he's met someone. Julie and Mary battle for supremacy, each trying to assert their authority over the children.

    8:30

David tears the house apart looking for the package. Callum tells him he's got an hour to find it or he's taking Max. Gail and Sally are on pins as the police officer opens Callum's suspicious package. They're stunned to discover it's an empty box.

Linda denies that she left because of Izzy's disability and explains it was because she had an affair which she deeply regretted. Izzy and Katy listen, shell shocked, realising how Owen has lied to them. Izzy and Katy turn on Owen while Anna looks at him with disgust. Linda later drops in, revealing she has decided to stay around in the hope of forging a relationship with her daughters. Owen breaks down wondering if his girls forgive him. Meanwhile, Craig and Faye work out that Faye must be 7 months pregnant. Faye is horrified and, under pressure, promises to tell Anna but she returns home to find Anna already upset.

Tracy and Tony spend the afternoon in bed at Tony's flat. When Jason knocks at the door, Tony fobs him off, but as he makes to leave, Jason hears a woman's voice. Jason confides in Todd how he reckons Tony is playing away.

Determined to clear the air, Julie summons Mary and Sophie for tea.

    Wednesday 18th February:

Making out he's got a dental appointment, David skips off work and meets Callum in the ginnel. Gail is suspicious. Callum hands David a wrap of coke and an address and orders him to deliver the drugs for him. David is forced to agree but later flushes the coke down the drain. Enlisting the help of Nick and Gavin, David announces they're going to confront Callum and tell him to leave them alone. But before David, Nick and Gavin are about to set off, Gail stops them, declaring that she and Audrey will sort Callum out. Confronting Callum in the Dog & Gun, Gail orders him to stay away from her family but Callum insists he has the right to see his own son. Losing her temper, Gail tells Callum that David flushed his drugs down the drain.

Kevin meets up with his internet date, Jenny Bradley. They reminisce about the old days and Jenny asks after Rita. When Kevin suggests they meet up again, will Jenny be as keen?

Having secretly arranged to attend a property auction with Tony, Eva lies to Jason, making out she's going shopping with an old girlfriend. Jason is deeply suspicious.

Julie is horrified when Mary comes in the shop and helps herself to some groceries without paying. Faye confides in Craig that she can't bring herself to tell Anna about her pregnancy and plans to give birth in secret and leave the baby outside the hospital.

    Friday 20th February:
    7:30

Eva confides in Todd that she's secretly meeting Tony for a house auction at a hotel in town. While Eva's not looking, Todd steals her mobile phone and plants it on the hotel reception desk, making out that a guest left it in the bar. When Eva's late for dinner, Jason phones her mobile and is horrified to discover it's been handed in at a hotel. Fearing the worst, Jason sets off for the hotel while Todd is delighted to see his plan coming together. Having bought a house at the auction for a bargain price, Tony and Eva celebrate with a glass of fizz in the hotel bar.

Gail prepares for Michael's welcome-home-party but she hopes she hasn't made things worse for David by wading in and antagonising Callum. When there's a knock at the door, David horrified to see Callum. Shoving David out of the way, Callum forces his way in.

Sally, Tyrone and Maddie gently rib Kevin over his failed date. But after Kevin locks up the garage, Jenny approaches and, telling him she's changed her mind, suggests they go for a drink. Kevin's thrilled.

Linda invites Izzy and Katy to join her for dinner in the Bistro. Katy's keen though Izzy only accepts her offer to hurt Owen. Meanwhile, Anna remains at loggerheads with Owen and makes it clear she's jealous of the love he once felt for Linda. In the hospital, Chesney and Kirk watch with baited breath as the physio helps Sinead to sit up for the first time.

    8:30

In a rage, Jason marches up to a stunned Tony and accusing him of having an affair with Eva, and punches him. Back on the street Jason tells Eileen, Todd, Sean and Billy how he caught Tony and Eva together in a hotel. Todd is quietly thrilled. Tony and Eva barge into No.11 and explain to Jason that they were simply attending an auction at which Tony kindly bought them a house. Deeply offended that he could think they were having an affair, Eva tells Jason they're finished. Jason is devastated while Todd revels in their distress. Jason apologises to Eva and getting down on one knee, asks her to marry him.

Thrusting a letter at David, Callum demands to see Max. Gail and Audrey threaten to call the police but Callum is unfazed. While Callum fawns over Max, David opens the letter. He is gutted to read that Callum has applied for a residency order for Max. To David's horror, Callum tells Max that he is his real Dad. Max looks confused and David orders Callum to leave before attempting to explain all to an emotional Max.

After an enjoyable meal, Kevin persuades Jenny to join him for a drink in the Rovers. Sally is taken aback to see that Kevin's date is Jenny Bradley, while Norris tears into Jenny, berating her for the way she treated Rita in the past. Jenny leaves, embarrassed, followed by an apologetic Kevin.

Linda persuades Owen that they should forgive and forget for the sake of the girls. After another pep talk from her physio, Sinead paints on a smile for Chesney, Kirk, Beth and Julie when they visit.

Andy's secret is blown wide open just 72 hours before Michael, played by Les Dennis, 61, is set to marry Gail, when his real son shows up.

And the true Gavin proves he's also a con artist when he blackmails both Andy and Gail into coughing up cash to keep the secret.

Stuart Blackburn has confirmed that the couple won't make it down the aisle first time around.

He’s been cultivating a new life after stealing the identity of another man, but would-be Gavin Rodwell’s world of make-believe takes a macabre turn in a forthcoming episode of Coronation Street.
The restaurant worker, played by Oliver Farnworth, has been living a double life since arriving on the cobbles after taking the identity of Michael Rodwell’s long lost son.
But he will be faced with a conundrum after the real Gavin dies, with Michael, who has a heart condition, seemingly unaware that the person he believes to be his son is in fact an imposter.

Bringing up the rear, Michael's tearful fiancée Gail Platt is seen with the fake Gavin, himself evidently stunned by the latest development, and with it the implications that come with telling Michael, played by Les Dennis, the truth.

Speaking about Linda's reasons for leaving her daughters, Jacqueline explained: 'An illness is going to come out. I think she had some sort of post-natal depression.
'So she had a fling at work and then found she couldn't handle her situation at home.
'Linda then ran off to Portugal - but she did try to keep in touch. She sent letters, tried calling - but Ian blocked everything and he never told the girls.
'Izzy thinks it was her illness that pushed her mother away but it wasn't. It was Owen.'

I really think that Linda could have made contact somehow with her daughters - ie phone, facebook etc.
