Why surely? You sound as if you think everyone who has a laptop has it hooked up to their TV. Bit difficult if your TV is at home and your laptop is in your briefcase.
I've been watching US Pace things for years. In full HD, no ads, no nout. And not a laptop/computer connected to my TV in sight. I use 3 things...
* Knowledge of where to get the file (DS doesn't allow for directions in this matter)
* A USB thumb drive/memory stick/flash drive/pen drive/whatever you want to call it
* A £50 LG Blu Ray Player (or TV with a USB input but you may struggle to play certain file types, specifically the really high end HD ones)
