Bloody hell, my ex lives in Willesden and I would have never imagined the flats to be that expensive in that part of the city! (In the style of the 'Aliens' guy) "London!
It has a rather unpleasant history, conveniently left out by the estate agent.
What is that history?
425k for a 2 bed on the outskirts of zone 2 alone does make me weep a little.
Edit: Ah just seen the post above. TBH the price would put me off more than the history, especially given that it is fairly ancient history. Bad shit has probably happened in every corner of London at some point.
He killed 12 men in the flat, had sex with the bodies and then disposed of the corpses by dismembering them and hiding them under the floorboards.
Yes I know the story very well. He simmer boiled the heads to get the flesh off.
It's enough to send shivers up my spine even thinking about it now. I might visit the place just for the grisly effect - but live there? Not a chance in hell. I'd rather sleep at the Salvation Army.
surprised its not going for more, but if its offers over £425,000, I can see this flat going for around £750,000, or even £1m, now who buys it, that's going to be a different question

I would think so too. I wouldn't want to live there even if it was free.
