The 5 senses - Choose your favourite for each, then pick your ultimate.

Let's cycle through the five traditionally recognized senses and pick one favourite from each.

Sight (ophthalmoception), hearing (audioception), taste (gustaoception), smell (olfacoception or olfacception), and touch (tactioception).

Then pick your ultimate sense champion.

I will kick off.

Sight - The sun dissolving into the sea when abroad in sunny climes.

Taste - Crispy bacon creating a taste explosion

Hearing - The sound of the waves lapping Chesil Beach.

Smell - The aroma of bread baking.

Touch - Writhing around on satin sheets.

My ultimate would be the smell of bread baking because it recalls happy childhood memories and it also just smells so good.

I tried to pick my favourites but i still could change my mind when other suggestions are mentioned.

Over to you.

    Sight - The snow falling - it's just beautiful, calming, makes me feel cosy.

    Taste - The taste of my husbands kisses... nothing beats it.

    Hearing - My family and kids on the phone, im here and they are all back in Aus.

    Smell - The rain falling after a hot summers day back home in Aus

    Touch - My kitten, he's so soft, i could pet him for hours

    My favourite sense..... I think sight.... so many beautiful things in this world to look at, plus i paint, so i couldn't be creative without my sight.

    Why is balance never recognised as a sense? I reckon because whoever categorised the other five didn't perceive it as a sense as they didn't understand gravity or inertia.

    Taste - Lemon curd

    Hearing - Bird song on a summer meadow (or a .357 Magnum - can't decide)

    Smell - Cinnamon

    Touch - A lady's pubic hair
