We've just learned Michael Jackson was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Los Angeles ... and we're told it was cardiac arrest and that paramedics administered CPR in the ambulance.
He was picked up at his home around 20 minutes ago -- we're told his mother is on the way to visit him.
UPDATE: The 911 call came in at 12:21PM at his Holmby Hills home in L.A.

* I think you'd half expect anything from Michael Jackson but a heart attack isn't one. But considering all those stupid operations he's had and sleeping in a oxegen chamber, anything IS possible.
Not a fan of Jacko really, but I hope he's OK.

I hope this isnt just another cruel prank thread. Actually, I suppose I DO, as I wouldnt wish a heart attack on anyone as that is how my Dad died.

Hmmm, hate to say it, but it could maybe be fatal, maybe all the medical conditions have finally taken their tole? I know its all rumours, but if he has worked as hard as people have said on his comeback, with his troubles, it could have pushed him over the edge.
This truely is shocking though, completley out of the blue.

He is the best music performer in the world ever. I love him.
