Hi everyone,

I'm doing a west end production quiz and I have a few left which I can't get..

Shortened operation of illusion (3 7 2 3 5) the phantom of the opera?

Sounds like vocals during the time the monarch rules (6 2 3 4)

Aspiration of water vessels and under garments (5 5 3 10)

Angles of affection (7 2 4) aspects of love??

Nothing is easy? - could be an anagram of some sort? (5)

Unbiased pride in appearance (6 4) vanity fair??

Thankfully I've got the other 44, hope you enjoy trying to figure them out, I'm so stuck!

    《somthing》 in the rain

If it wasn't 6 I'd have said singing

The third one is dream boats and petticoats. I think you've got the others, apart from nothing is easy.

I have no idea about any west end productions I am afraid, but I have seen a few musicals on TV, could the question "Nothing is easy ?" be "Annie" by any chance ? As there was a song in that called "Easy street". Given the plan they hatched when singing wasn't successful perhaps that is the reason for the clue ?

Just a random guess, I have no idea if it was a west end production..

Nothing is easy - Chess (don't know much about the musical.)
or it could be Evita when she sings.. "it won't be easy, you'll think it strange..."

Good morning everyone, thank you everyone for your answers! I completely see what you mean about Annie and that makes perfect sense to me! It was suggested it was an anagram though but there are so many vowels and hard knock life fits so well!

I already have evita for a different anagram. Thanks for suggestions, any further input/discussion welcome. I've got the eminem song in my head now! :D

    Dream Boats and Petticoats :)

EDIT: D'Oh. Too late. Seven hours too late. I read through all the answers twice before I posted and was thrilled that no-one else had got it...:o

Further to the above comments linking Annie to the hard knock life song, the letters for Annie are actually in the clue so... I'm thinking its probably that but I can't commit 100% haha
