*Lorenzo's Oil (1992) nominated for Best Actress

    Thelma & Louise. No question.

    I always assumed the reason that neither her or Geena won an Oscar was because the vote got split between the two performances IYKWIM?

    But when you consider that they lost to Jodie Foster, it wasn't too much of a shock IMO.

    Edit, The Client comes a very close second. She won the Bafta award for this which I felt was well deserved.

    Thelma and Louise. She was superb in that.

    I loved her in Dead Man Walking too but Louise Sawyer was her defining screen moment.

    I'm gonna go for Thelma and Louise too.

    It is by far her most famous role and she really did own that part. Susan Sarandon is consistently good in all her movies imo.

    The client , it is such a good movie .
