Do you eat three meals a day?

I've been conciously trying to have three meals a day this week (having previously always skipped breakfast) and I actually find I'm hungrier more now then when I snacked more but ate less in the way of a meal.

How often do you manage to eat three meals a day?

Sometimes I'll only have one meal a day and possibly snack throughout the rest of it. I rarely eat any more than two; skipping breakfast more often than not.

Generally two meals and a snack. I eat breakfast late as I can't eat early so brekkie at 10.30ish, snack a 2ish and tea at 5pm.

Main meal is evening meal - breakky I try to always have even if it is a small slice of toast and a petit filous yoghurt (kiddy pot :D) I can't eat for at least 3 hours after I get up

We normally have a proper breakfast at weekends though (croissants or muffins with jam or a sausage sarnie!)

Lunch is usually small - a pasta salad / soup / sarnie?

I always have dinner though, am a total grump if I am hungry. Also I like to cook especially when I have time at the weekends so always make something yummy.

    2 meals a day.

I really cant stomach breakfast, so my first food comes from lunch. I then have a dinner ... and occasionally a pudding in the evening.

If toast, fruit juice and coffee for breakfast count as a meal then yes.

During the week yes. I often skip breakfast at the weekend. No particular reason, just never seem bothered.

I feel really hungry when I first wake up. I always eat some toast or cereal and have a coffee first thing, at 7:00.

Then I have a small lunch (mostly just fruit) at about 12:30

    Then dinner at about 6pm.

So yes I eat three meals. I hate eating late in the day it gives me indigestion and I can't sleep.

I actually have 4 meals a day but they are smallish meals and I find I don't get hungry at all. I may skip one if I have a big lunch or takeaway but I find this the easiest way of keeping hunger at bay while dieting.

Generally one meal a day, with a yoghurty snack or a bit of cherry pie something in the evening.

Any more and I'd never be out the bathroom! (IBS)

I have three meals most days.

Breakfast - usually porridge or weetabix with fruit (either strawberries, a banana or raisins).

Lunch - tuna or ham salad or sandwich with an apple and a pear.

Evening meal - spag bol, chicken curry, chicken salad...anything like that really.

I don't snack much, but I usually have a bit more fruit in between my meals. I'm lucky because I really really like most fruit.

On Sundays though, I don't tend to eat three meals. We have a bacon sandwich about 11.30am or so and then perhaps just a couple of rounds of toast later on.

Always. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
Keep the fire burning- your body needs fuel the whole day.
If you don't eat regular your body (not knowing when it's next meal is coming) will tend to store up and you wil put on weight!

I eat 3 meals a day but could easily eat 4. But I don't eat snacks as I find they ruin my apetite:D

I force breakfast down now after missing it for years. It always made me feel ill but I fought through that and now it's no longer a problem. The reason is I would miss breakfast and feel fine until about 11am and I'd be starving and resort to snacking - chocolate, cakes etc.

Lunch and evening meals are sporadic though. If I'm at uni I usually have lunch but if I'm at work I don't get a lunch break so usually have a go-ahead thingy but by evening meal I could devour everything in the cupboards. If I've had lunch then evening meal usually ends up being cereal.

    Nope.

    Can't afford it.

I usually have some toast on a morning then depending how much food is in the freezer, may have something during the evening. Sometimes I even skip brekkie.

I eat one meal day sometime after 9pm. And have done for 20yrs (2/3rds of my life).

I can't eat more often or during the day because I would feel bloated. I sometimes have a fruit juice in the morning but that is it.
