If it's a true simulcast, the UK airing will be 8pm.
That makes sense for the seemingly darker tone of the episode. I wish they'd always show it a bit later than 6/7 at night, I'm sure they'd be able to get away with more. Then again, I'm not sure what the extra hour or two's difference will make.
People often tout Doctor Who as scary, and I can see why people would think that with some of the episodes but for me, I tend to just find them eerie or creepy. It's like the basis for a good scary episode is there but you need a little something else to give the kick, for example the jump scares in Blink.
Not every Doctor Who episode has been set in Victorian England, no matter how much you seem to want to insist so every time there is an episode set during that period.
The show HAS gone to the future before and will again, no matter how much you suggest The Doctor only seems to visit the past these days..
The use of recurring characters in their home time during any given era is not a Steven Moffat crime, nor is it anything new to the world of television and film - or indeed, Doctor Who.
Using a recurring character five times in four years should not be in any way called "overused." Jackie Tyler had 14 appearances in that time - clearly she should have had her name on the opening credits.
It is highly unlikely that Clara is being killed off in the first episode and no matter how much you want to allcaps him to leave, Steven Moffat is staying on for Series 9.
Take a deep breath, have a little patience... and then deal with it.
According to what I've read online, Ep1 'Deep Breath' is going to be
one hour and twenty minutes long!
So it said anyway.
Take a look at CD93's post (#111) above. BBCA may have scheduled a two-hour slot for the programme, but that's not inconsistent with an actual running time of 75 minutes or so.
Has nobody noticed how it's two different voices? I thought that was clear.
"Beauty, divinity", doesn't sound like a dalek AT ALL IMO.
"Hatred", I believe is the only thing that is said by a dalek.
I agree with you up to a point - there are certainly two voices, but it sounds to me as if the one becomes the other: we are hearing the moment when the human(?) turns into the Dalek. So, two voices, but one entity.

Sounds like Dalek Caan to me, but I accept that might be just wishful thinking on my part. ;-)
Thought the leak couldn't get any worse? Think again.
Abandon Internet.
I've been contacted by someone on Tumblr who confirmed that they have downloaded it and that it's real. A black and white, unedited screener of Deep Breath.
Later I've been contacted by the Doctor Who official Tumblr and gave them a link to where I found it online - so the BBC are definitely aware of it.

What is wrong with that? If there are more screenshots then it is a problem but it is a screenshot that could have been faked.
I think my question has been answered. If it is true and there is a black and white copy of episode 1 on the internet I feel extremely sorry for Peter Capaldi and Steven Moffat. BBC Worldwide is extremely bad at handling sensitive Doctor Who information and documents.

Must be Friday.
Somebody treat me
BBC subtitles state "beauty debility a trap" however I've seen most people think it's "beauty divinity hatred".
So which one is it?
Which channel?
Will it be [shudders] dubbed-version only?
"Beauty, divinity", doesn't sound like a dalek AT ALL IMO.
"Hatred", I believe is the only thing that is said by a dalek.
Obviously people are failing to see the bigger picture.

Guys, just watch BBC1 24/7 from now until August 23, okay?
There are more quotes around on Twitter but I have no desire to venture in to the script thread.
It says on the press release from FOX Germany that 'should' the BBC decide to air the show at 8 pm it will aired at 9pm German time so the time the show will air on is not confirmed yet the 9pm is just an example of time difference http://www.foxchannel.de/serien/doctor-who/news/doctor-who-fox-zeigt-8-staffel-am-tag-der-weltpremiere

People have watched the episode. It is not fake.
