Xbox on seems to work for me in the first few seconds after I've turned it off, and xbox turn off .... No chance unless I put on a fake American accent. Works for the kids almost every time though
What is the voice command to turn it off? Xbox off does nothing, neither does x box turn off or xbox switch off. Has anyone had a situation yet where someone is watching tv in the same room and the xbox starts obeying the advert when playing a game?

I normally say Xbox turn off. It then asks if your sure or not.

Even easier solution: Disable the "xbox on" command in the settings
[I find it pointless, given that you still have to turn on the controller anyway]
