she's a bit too showy for my liking. she needs to play for the camera which can capture the subtleties.

    Very good...mostly.

A couple bits let her down where she went "sketch show". Her reaction to being asked to go down the side of the building and the "mate" joke were the 2 bits that stood out as really OTT and overacted.

When not hamming it up I think she's excellent.

A matter of taste, I reckon, but her emotional range seems limited. A good thing for some, but she just seems a bit flat.

Very good - more layered & nuanced than in Runaway Bride.

Yes I agree I didnt like her in Runaway Bride, the writing must have been better this time round.

Good that she isnt gooey-eyed over the doctor too :D

Agreed. Loved Sarah Lancashire: "Sorry, are we interrupting you...?" Very funny :D

I liked CT. I only watch DW now and then but I have to say I think she would make me watch it more. Was never fussed about Billie Piper one way or the other and the one who played Martha had zero screen presence. Pretty girl and all, but I'd rather watch a kettle boil :o CT does have some kind of watchable charisma in my view.

And glad she doesn't fancy The Doctor. He needs a friend.

Excellent. A much different companion to any of the new ones, which is what the show needs. (We just need an alien copmpanion now lol)

An alien companion ? He should re-animate Dalek Sek and have him for a companion, a barrel of laughs.

    Shockingly bad.

I'm dreading her "comedy mugging" in next weeks tragedy in Pompeii.

    Worst assistant since Mel Bush.

she ran about trying to find him all doe eyed ignoring her mother (who about the same age as her actually )
and had a car boot filled with suitcases ready to dump her family to run off with a toy boy .

How was she a different companion to Martha and Bingo/Rose?

21st Londoner with overbearing family and disillusioned with life wanting to hook up with dishy Doctor.

    Hes just invented another cliche.

Everybodys saying exactly that - she looked older then her mother. In fact she looked older then Cribbins..
