Please help is there any way to update my bios on my fujitsu siemens esprimo PC?
have been looking on google though not anything is coming up for me in search at all other than some software that wants me to pay like £40 to update the bios.
I have just upgraded the old Intel Celeron D 347 to a Pentium E2180 but it keeps saying this each time I turn it on.

by the way here is the PC to

though windows does work after pressing F1
I just wish there was more info how to do this on google search.

How did you determine if the Pentium E2180 is compatible with your motherboard?

If CPU-Z has correctly identified your PC then this is what a search on the Fujitsu support site gives.

    http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/content/QuicksearchResult.asp?lng=EN&q=d2454-a2&btnG.x=15&btnG.y=4

Various options on the BIOS tab.

I put in the motherboard number and said it would take the new CPU in fact the CPU came with the PC but they never put it in.
thanks for the other link I will have a look.

Never ever get such things from dubious sources or pay.
Fujitsu Support is the only place to go.

If you don't know what you are doing bear in mind >>>>> a failed BIOS update can result in a bricked PC <<<<<.

this seems pretty tricky to use
DeskFlash 6.23 (DeskView Instant - Bios Management 6.23.0117)
hopefully there is a guide or something because it won't open for me.

Your PC model does not seem to be in the list for that BIOS Management tool. You may have to do the BIOS update first.

Your search - FTS_FlashBIOSUpdateDeskFlash_600111_1015599 - did not match any documents.

If you don't know what you're doing you should STOP. You could mess up your motherboard. Get some instructions before you proceed further.

There's a program from Fujitsu called DeskUpdate, which might work:

I'm not going to pursue this anymore, I don't think you have sufficient knowledge.
The mere fact you don't display the last 3 letter extension, worries me. It's a binary update file.

8 years on and you decide to do this.
