Gnocchi in mascarpone sauce, with spinach, topped with mozzarella and baked in the oven.
I love gnocchi / gnocchi bakes - but hubby will eat anything god put breath in, but gnocchi! He'll endure a small spoonful of it baked with spinach.:(
I found some on sale - Turkey. Long life, but I didn't get a chance to cook it. It's in date until 2015.:) why do they despise spuds so much? There again, their rice is boring if not, fat laden to me. Horses for courses I guess.

Yes, I wouldn't like a potato-less life!
I make a version of the gnocchi with giant pasta shells. Just stuff the shells with spinach and cream cheese (and sometimes add leeks or mushrooms), put on a bed of tomato and mascarpone sauce and topped with mozzarella and then baked. That's lovely, too.
I've had a fantastic crop of plum tomatoes this year so I'm spending the evening making a basic ragu. It will have to be a sandwich in between peeling tomatoes.
I have changed my shifts to work Sundays rather than Saturdays, so I'm having a lovely lazy day of cooking. Got a piece of pork in the slow cooker, going to have pulled pork with BBQ sauce in sub rolls and wedges with gruyere
Went to Nando's today as i been to Liverpool and had the chicken fillet burger, and chips and salad..I couldn't finish it off but was nice all the same..so tonight i had half a sandwich i bought and half of hula hoops i had left.

It's been a long time since I had Chinese food and he went out last week with his work colleagues and guess what they had? I was so jealous!
Have occasionally been having leek and potato soup recently and I cannot believe how easy it is to make
Recipe a separate thread.
The most I'll have is half a tin of soup or something.
Lasagne is tomorrow lol
