I just realised no one would miss me because all the people I know that matter have emigrated :D

Also and what and who would you miss?

A few friends, maybe some of my siblings. Not many others I'd imagine.

Apart from a tiny close group of friends, nearly everyone I knew when I was in my twenties buggered off to live in other towns, cities and countries years ago. If I ever did emigrate, it would probably be in cahoots with everyone I still know.

I'm like Mike from Stephen King's 'It' - holding the fort till a monster clown arrives.

The wife might, but I am sure she'd get over it.

That's a good question. If I took my partner and son, then no-one really. Gosh, that's a sobering thought.
