    speaking slightly off subject it is interesting that the BOW of a sailing ship was made from one BOUGH of a tree that was roughly the right shape similar to a BOW (with arrow) but whan it is for a ship it is spelt Bow rather than Bough, I would have thought it would be the latter (bough) English is a strange language isn't it.

    Thread title says similar. And for opposites they sound far too similar when spoken.
