I wonder why Kate referred to Mark Boudreau as 'Martin' when she was talking in the car with Jack. it's at about 17 minutes in. I had my subtitles on and it came up as Martin but when I listened again it's definitely what she says! Do you think it's a devious plot device or a mistake they let through?
I thought I heard her say that too; and I just double-checked my recording. Weird that no-one spotted it
I still think that we could see an appearance by Charles Logan or possibly Martha. In fact, I think there's more chance of Martha than Charles. She was last seen in a mental institution but could be back to good health maybe?! The show is missing is strong, powerful female character.
Well according to the show execs there are no plans to continue next year. Whether that changes in the coming months I don't know. Really hope it does.
Just caught up on last few episodes, wow. Cannot wait for the finale seems to be an awful lot to wrap up. Is tony changs sniper? Is this the end for 24, certainly hope not, I've really enjoyed this shortened season and it's revived the show.
Just read that Elisha Cuthbert may have filmed scenes, on the previous page.
If that's true, how's this: Jack dies. The final scene is his body returning to the US where it's met and ID'd by his only blood relative, his daughter, hence the time jump.

They already said jack will never be killed off. I do think there will be another series. How can they not after this which was as good as it ever was for me.
Put me in the camp that thinks the time jump will occur towards the end of the episode as some form of epilogue and maybe a cliffhanger of sorts (considering it doesn't look like another season is happening next year at least).
The weirdest bit will be "The following takes place between 10pm & 11am. Events do not occur in real time"
Agree with the epilogue aspect.
I think it could be something like episode starts with 'The following occurs between 10pm and 10:45pm' and then after an advert break 'The following occurs between 10:50am-11am' or something like that.
Basically it's going to be a very weird episode of 24 .

Nope - just sat down to watch the ep and it does indeed start with the following takes place between 10pm and 11am .
Superb final episode. Loved it. Exciting, emotional, violent, sad. It had it all. A great ending to an enjoyable action packed crazy season of 24. The London setting gave it a different vibe.
A tale of two parts that finale. The events in real time were sensational. Loved seeing Jack extracting full blown revenge against Cheng and I loved seeing Audrey being killed (couldn't stand her) and I was chuffed to see Belcheck survived I love that guy.
My only issue was the time-jump. The content was utter crap. It was basically a rehash of the season 5 finale except Jack willingly (as can be) turned himself over to the enemy. I'd rather the Russians arrested Jack in the real time scenes and the time jump showing him being escorted into a Russian prison where he met his new cell mate Tony!
Considering the pace 24 sets itself at it made no sense for the Russians to wait 12 hours for Jack to turn himself over.
But all in all it was an amazing season and not one dull episode. There definitely needs to be another after the way they left it. That surely can't closure for the character.
And one other point Yvonne Strahovski has got herself a new fan. She was sublime. Her and Belcheck should have a spin-off show.
I had my doubts as to how they would finish off the series. The previous episode had so much lined up and this final one just gave it the big finish that it needed. I did half expect the helicopter to explode as it was taking off though. But killing Jack is a no no.
I loved how Jack managed to get from London to Southampton Docks in super fast time.
It was rather sad when Heller said that he wouldn't remember how his daughter died, and then how he wouldn't even remember her.
So the next series is Jack escaping from the Russian prison over the space of 11 hours and 50 minutes - and then back on friendly soil for the last 10 minutes. A sort of Prison Break type season with Jack pursued by the pesky Russians across the Czech Republic - erm I mean Russian countryside

could it be a production error? I agree it's quite a big one but can't see it meaning anything in the last episode

Exactly, Audrey will have a numb bum having to sit there all that time.

Don't do that to me again
I'm avoiding all trailers before the finale don't want any spoilers at all

Farewell Jack Bauer. Tick tock tick tock.
Really enjoyed the finale regardless. I'm glad Cheng FINALLY got killed by Jack. I've pretty much been waiting for that since Season 4.
When they didn't show the other side of the conversation, my mind was going "TONY! LOGAN! THE RUSSIANS! ALL THREE OF THEM!"

its not 24 unless there's a evil turncoat working alongside jack and a death.
