Think it is more than feasible seeing as it has passed FCC

This might throw a spanner in the idea of Xbox 1 launching the same day as CoD.

Still its a pretty good idea and one I hope Sony can match as no doubt many people will be buying big DLC happy games for their PS3/360 if they are not jumping on the new systems at launch and it makes that transition a lot easier if your not worried about DLC season passes.

DICE have pretty much blown the 21st release date out of the water

That way, on 1st November, you can get in the game without any worries that you’ll have to start ranking up all over again when PlayStation 4 launches. We got your back.

This does make it sound like PS4 will be launching after November 1.
Today we also wanted to inform the community that DICE is promising to keep the action going all year long with the return of Premium membership for Battlefield 4. With membership, players can expect themed digital expansion packs, new weekly content, and personalization options. And just as your stats, unlocks, and rank will be transferable from PS3 to PS4, so too will Battlefield 4 Premium membership.

Good news about DLC for at least this gaming carrying over between PS3 and PS4. With MS saying all season pass content will carry over on their system hopefully more publishers will follow suit for Playstation as well. It would be nice if Sony could get in on the action though and just secure things down like MS have with these season passes.

Could still launch oct 21 but not for all regions. Also could be but that dice does not know the release date which is unlikely or they trying to throw us off

    Doesn't at all.

It is just simply saying that if you don't have a next-gen pre-order or can't afford it yet then don't let saving up or waiting for one prohibit you from going out and getting BF4 thinking that your time spent will be wasted as it won't transfer over on to the next-gen when you can afford it.

It clearly mentions 'when PS4 launches' which infers you can start playing BF4 on the games launch and not worry about swapping to PS4 'when it launches' at a later date.

Its probably something someone has written without thinking about it and it means nothing.

As already mentioned why would they say you transfer between PS3 and PS4 when released if the PS4 is basically coming out on the 21st. But it could be that they're meaning for people who fail to get a launch PS4, at least they can buy BF3 on the PS3 then on the PS4 when they finally manage to get one.

But it could just be a badly written throw away comment

Judging by all the release dates on Amazon for all the 'stuff' ( xboxs, ps4s, controllers, games etc.) PS4 will be released on 29th November, and Xbox will be released 27th November.
    (see here)

Maybe it wont be a bad thing to come out later. It's close enough together anyway? The extra couple of days could be time to watch the competition, see how they are going wrong and how people are responding to it all, and then fix a few things before release??
