We spent over an hour stuck in a one way system that defied the satnav. CL tried to encourage it by shouting but it made "satnav woman" even more determined to get us lost.:D
We have just eaten a heroic breakfast, Hicky would be proud of me.
Got in at 4.30 after a terrific party, so glad we went, after all, great food, good company, silly games, no loud music.
My son got pulled over for speeding last night - on his bicycle! He cycles to work and was apparently doing 37 mph in a 30 zone.He accepted the lecture with good grace, but did point out that he doesn't have a speedometer on his bike so was unaware of his speed.
He is a Special Constable, too, naughty boy! :D

wow ive never known someone get stopped for speeding on a bicycle:o it is difficult to know what speed you are going on a bike ....not that i would have that worry
