The main thing I'm excited for is ARTPOP by Lady GaGa. I'm anticipating that more than I did with Born This Way. I'm also looking forward to Jahmene Douglas' album. I really love that guy's voice. Also, hopefully Girls Aloud will release a new album. I hope we will have something new from Florence + The Machine. Also looking forward to Anastacia's new album. What else... oh yeah, The Wanted's new album. Based on the sound from I Found You I hope it'll be a good one. That's all for now. I'm sure there are more but I can't think of any. Maybe Madonna will release a new album towards the end of the year. Oh, Amelia Lily's album too.

Well from the acts I have reasonable expectations will release this year i.e are recording new material:
Lady Gaga - ARTPOP,
Beyonce - TBA 5th Album,
Tinie Tempah - Demonstration,
Eminem - TBA 8th Album,
Shakira - TBA 4th English Album,
Avril Lavigne - TBA 5th Album,
Britney Spears - TBA 8th Album,
Jessie J - TBA 2nd Album,
Natalia Kills - Trouble.
Alexandra Burke - TBA 3rd Album,
Cher Lloyd - TBA 2nd Album (the only one I don't know for sure is recording material, although I highly expect she is)
and if she does release as she is recording - Alesha Dixon's TBA 3rd Album.
Oh if rumours are true and Rita Ora is planning to try and launch in the US (again) with a whole new album, I expect that could well be her second British album aswell.
Jai Paul-I absolutely compel you to listen to this guy he is amazing. He was on the BBC sound of 2010 list and he's released 2 singles in about 3 years. He's a bit of a mystery but the music is absolute bliss. Have a listen. Hopefully his album will finally be released this year.
The Other Tribe- Loved the first single and all their stuff on youtube sounds incredible- a rare feat
Haim- Their music is great and they are so damn cool
Tom Odell-What a talented guy I think/hope he will breakthrough onto the mainstream he's so moving and could be the next Ed Sheeran/Ben Howard
Daley-Another Sound Of 2010 alumni and crazy talented, he does jazz and straight up pop his album should be a treat.
The Neighbourhood- Dark but full of promise
Also Peace, Kodaline, Aluna George and Unicorn Kid could be great
Returners
Foals: Total Life Forever absolutely blew me away and Inhaler is wonderful they deserve every success
Hurts: I really want them to be as massive here as they are all over Europe, I've been waiting for their follow up for ages.
Fenech Soler: Another follow up which should be worth waiting for dance music at its best
Janelle Monae: Someone else who deserves huge worldwide success with her second album.
Comments
Is this confirmed? Great news if so...
Yeah Lindsey and Stevie said in an interview with Rolling Stone that there would be new music, not necessarily an album but an EP if anything
I also anticipate good stuff from new acts like Haim, Daley, AlunaGeorge and Willy Moon
Potentially, a full-length from How To Destroy Angels.
On a more pop note, new music from Halona King and Chloe Howl.
