I was watching the BBC National News on Sky 101 and then waited for the local news from Look North to come on, but instead the BBC News Channel was shown, complete with ticker.

Normally if there is an issue they show the Look North from Hull.

Anyone know what happened today?

    You're not the only one who noticed, though I don't know what happened. Also at the end of what should have been the Look North programme, the weather forecast came on but it was out of sync and did not segue, i.e. follow on correctly from the preceding programme.

    "Technical Problems" according to their twitter.

    When a region fails at short notice they just show the news channel, and then when the 5 mins is up, it just cuts abruptly mid sentence to the national weather forecast.
