I do wonder if Graham McTavish is being paid to be on the opening credits of a show he's been in 2/8 episodes of. ;-)
Credit listing order and appearances is a mystery into itself. Sometimes a character could be in every (ish) ep but not appear, or be classed as a guest star, and other times they could be in the main credit listing and be gone from the show by episode-end.
Yeah!!!! Emily saving the little guinea pigs, bunnies and kittens. Just feed the mayor to Cassidy.:D:D
Finally we find out about the cowboy and Ratwater:o I thought he was just in a time loop until the angels turned up. But it was Hell and he was doomed to relive the same events over and over again.
I think Jesse and Cassidy are too wrapped up in their own stuff to even pay her any attention. Or Jesse didn't realize she set the mayor up? Cassidy just needed blood and didn't care where it came from.
I loved how she was watching Psycho and took Norman's words to heart.:D
I'd read a few reviews that said the finale was a bit lacklustre, but i really liked it.
I did like the way they just wiped out the town at the end to essentially reset everything to put them where the comics start for Season 2. The Saint of Killers arriving from Hell was pretty cool as well.
Definitely looking forward to Season 2. So glad I gave this a try as it's turned out to be one of my favourite new shows.
The gunslinger killed him last week, in the saloon.
Did you miss that it wasn't God? That's why it was a stereotype - it was an angel playing up to what humans expected.
It makes you wonder how long the god impersonator has been at it. I doubt that was his first performance, though it looked like it was going to be his last.
I just assumed he would pop back again as they did before with Cassidy!
I thought that too, but I guess Hell has different rules. Maybe he was resurrected, but still in Hell?
Edit: Is Emily Woodrow (played by the lovely Lucy Griffiths) in the comics at all? Does anyone know what her angle is at the moment? She seemed to be ... enjoying the chaos?

"You ok ?"
"NO!. Preacher shot ma' dick off !"
Laughed my arse off at that - mainly because of the matter-of-fact way he said it

Next week is the final of the series.

However, I did quite like this week's episode. Perhaps it's the lack of Tulip, as I really can't stand that character.
Was that a Breaking Bad homage when
You might be right. I got deja vu when I saw the scene but couldnt pin it.
Must have been. I very much doubt that it was accidental.

I still feel like I'm waiting for the actual story to get started and the season is nearly over.
I hope there is another series.
What happened to the other angel? Only one got back off the bus and the gunslinger was on his own when he came up from the ruins of the church.
Loved God, stereo type or what.:D
It was renewed for season 2 a month ago, with 13 episodes instead of 10.

Yes, but that is why I said stereotype! The angels just did the old guy with flowing white beard. Tulip even said, Told you it would be a white guy!
