Unfortunately RB4-6 are off the EPG but do exist and of course tuneable as other channels. They couldn't get the SD slots apparently!
They should have just launched 5 HD red button channels or maybe even 6 if they had let the FEC out a little more over a UK beam. They could even reduce the FEC on one or two of their main DVB-S tps and find space for an SD red button or two there.
Cheers, so only freesat boxes get the six, does freesat not use the same frequency and tp as sky anyway, strange.
"53152" (showing upgrade screen)....Now carrying EPG data for 'Setanta Sports 1 HD'.
"53153" (showing upgrade screen)....Now carrying EPG data for 'Premier Sports HD'.
I think those are the right way around?
jimbo can you confirm the above?
Thanks.
I think you are right. Both channels are labelled as "HD Setanta/Premier" but on 12.633 H, 51112 is Setanta and 51113 is Premier and share the same stream so I would not be at all surprised if 53152 is Setanta and 53153 is Premier.
Yes - but a different managed EPG with no SD channel addition restrictions.
** Note ** All D Type TP services should be migrating to their interim TP's by end of play today. All D Type TP's will be off-air by tomorrow morning.
UPDATE
NIT changed at 1057 this morning as folows:
11.464 H (was 11.585 H - but still broadcasting there)
11.479 V (was 11.604 V - but still broadcasting there)
11.509 V (was 11.661 H - but still broadcasting there)
11.973 V (was 11.681 V - but still broadcasting there)
I know this has probably be mentioned before, but Astra 2D is on the move Westwards, according to Flysat it is at 23.5 West today. SES's website don't say about the move so I don't know where it's heading.
SES's website does give a hint where she's going, to 5.2E according to the CoB data.
Cheers, so only freesat boxes get the six, does freesat not use the same frequency and tp as sky anyway, strange.
Yes freesat does but obviously there is Sky names and freesat names and one can't read or see the other. So the BBC named and placed them all on the freesat EPG, but only 3 were named and placed on the Sky EPG.
So people using sky boxes have to either use other channels or the actual red button app even though they are the same channels/video streams!

Good news then, more moves and more Eutelsat28A tp closures.
Does anyone know their final positions, seeing as they are now on interim frequencies?
Liberty Global is in exclusive talks with Doughty Hanson to buy TV3 Ireland according to the Matt Cooper radio show on Today FM this evening. I think Liberty are the only company interested in buying TV3. I will poat more info when and if it becomes available.
All except TP 98 SR 22k FEC 5/6
TP 98 DVB-S2 QPSK 23K SR 8/9
Ah yes sorry my mistake I did see you post that elsewhere.
So the only differences will be that band B will use SES Astra's bandplan of 26MHz tps.
When will they be at their final positions? Tomorrow? Or next week?
All ex D Types will be on air by tomorrow morning on their new 2G TP's. We'll know then which are PE and which are UK spot, if any?
So is the B band going to be covered by Astra 2G exclusively then?
Currently 2F doesn't seem to be covering as many tps as it did I assume it will be covering all of the G band and parts of the E and F bands with 2E?
Comments
11.225 V, 27.500, 2/3, DVB-S, QPSK.

'Africa Channel' has now been removed from Sky EPG 209.
Currently showing a blank screen off the EPG on 12.663 H, 22.000, 5/6, DVB-S, QPSK.

Hope they don't go the same way as 'Record TV HD'.
I think more or less back to their old frequencies give or take a few MHz to allow for Eutelsat and Astra differences.
Thought I'd posted this elsewhere or Strathclyde had already posted full details:
D7 >> TP 97 (11.582 H)
D8 >> TP 98 (11.697 V)
D11 >> TP 103 (11.671 H)
D12 >> TP 104 (11.686 V)
All except TP 98 SR 22k FEC 5/6
TP 98 DVB-S2 QPSK 23K SR 8/9
I'm sure Boomerang HD launches tomorrow, not sure about &TV HD but must be imminent!

Just noticed a typo, that should be 11.597 V
Well spotted.
Cheers Timo
