Cold Comes The Night (2013) 6/10
I attempted to watch that earlier today but I ended up switching it off as I found it boring. Shame as I really like bryan Cranston.

'The Watch' starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughan, Jonah Hill and that English black guy with glasses.

Funny in places and a good watch generally. I never used to like Jonah Hill, but in this and Wolf of Wall Street, I have warmed to him.

    6/10.

    Grand Budapest Hotel

8/10 thought it could have been a masterpiece had the director explored deeper into themes. Ended up feeling like a frustratingly well told shaggy dog story.

MINUSCULE VALLEY OF THE LOST ANTS - 9half/10
delightful little story about a lost ladybug and his adventures

    and in STARK CONTRAST .....

THE CONGRESS (LE CONGRESS) - 6/10
terminally DULL, lots of yakking and exposition, and with LOTS of injokes, makes for a very serious watch, as a mix of roger rabbit and felix the cat animation ..... but you're left wondering WHY?

    still an interesting curio though

    Four [2011]. Director: John Langridge

    4/10

Silly kidnap drama with some OTT performances.

    **************

The Hot Potato [2011]. Director: Tim Lewiston

    5/10

Old-fashioned crime caper set in 1969. For some reason Louise Redknapp was cast as Ray Winstone's wife.

    Bounty Killer = 7/10

Good, in a 'batshit crazy' kind of way.

Monuments Men 6/10 - could have been so much better, but it just didn't flow very well, and seemed unable to decide what it wanted to be.
Plus, it was the most wooden performance I've seen from George Clooney - and this is coming from a fan of his!
