I'm a Town Guy.

FYI, this thread is not about football, it's about where you live.

    Bit of both, I'm afraid.

Can't beat cities for convenience and diversity but the countryside looks a helluva lot better.

    City girl.

I love trees, plants, wildlife and peace, but a few days is enough for me. I love the seaside even more, but I miss the buzz and bustle of a city, whichever country I've been in.

I'd have to be run out of London to leave it!

Country guy. Born in one and have retired to one. Lived in a town for 20 years, work, and hated it. I live in a small village now and love it.

Been a town person all my life but just discussing the option of becoming a country woman, my husband is a country man and really wants to get back to the countryside so we may be upping and moving when we get the chance.

Town, although I would prefer somewhere more rural.

Small villiage of just over 100 house. 1 Pub, 1 church, 1 shop and a couple of farms.
Very inconvenient if you need the cinema or shopping malls etc but we absolutely love it.
Lived in a city for ten years and I did enjoy it at the time, but for all its convenience I wouldnt want to go back to doing so.
Great views, quiet lanes and with a great community spirit.

    Town and Country.
I live in a town, (its actually a garden city) but in the middle of town there is plenty of parks and open spaces.
There's a nice large common just half a mile away.
Around the edge of town is the Garden City greenway. A path around town to enjoy the open countryside.

Seaside village in a National Park. Wouldn't want to live anywhere else, especially a city.

Both. I love working, shopping and socialising in a city but when I come home it's to a house surrounded by fields on the outskirts of a village :)

City, mainly. Not right in the centre of all of the noise, but close enough to get there easily and benefit from the nightlife, shopping and activity.

I don't drive so it has to be city. Towns and the country are fab but after a while I find them a bit dull. Lovely for recharging your batteries and getting away from the pollution of London.

City woman - I like the countryside for a holiday, but feel at home in the city.

My city is fairly small though, as they go, and a seaside city and it's not far from the country, which is good.:D

Town and country. I live on the outskirts of a town and so have the convenience of shopping and transport, but I'm also within walking distance of the countryside and so can set off there anytime with my dog. I wouldn't like to live in a city, though. Too fast paced and hectic for me.

I actually live in what is classed as a "new town" . It is however surrounded by countryside, farms, woods and forests which is why when people come and visit us from London they tell us we live in the country(I don't see it that way as I actually lived in a little village in the countryside when I was a child and it was so different).
