Hi

Big Bronte fan here!

A while ago I came across a novel on Amazon (I think it was relatively recently written - it wasn't Lynn Reid Banks' Brontel novels) which was ABOUT the Bronte family. It received great reviews. Stupidly, I didn't make a note of it and now, having done lots of detective work on Amazon, I still can't find it! Does anyone know the book I'm talking about? Or do you know any other Bronte-inspired novels (I've just ordered one called Four Dreamers and Emily, which looks good)?

Any help appreciated - thanks!!!!

Could it be The Taste of Sorrow by Jude Morgan? It seems to have been reissued later with a change of title to Charlotte and Emily.

    Emily's Journal by Sarah Fermi.
Written as if in her own words, Emily’s Journal explores in minute detail the possibility that Wuthering Heights was not entirely invented; it gives the reader a new and exhilarating glimpse into the social circumstances which kept a young woman from the man she loved.
