Is she going to call herself Cheryl Cole after she divorced Ashley or what because if she changes her name back it wouldn't do any good to her career now...but if she keeps it what happens when she wants to marry someone else? Oh well I know who cares...

I'd keep the Cole if I was her. Firstly it sounds 100 times better than Tweedy and her main fame in the last few years has been under the Cole name.

At the very least she should demand custody of it in the divorce settlement LOL.

She'll probably keep Cole, her name won't change back to tweedy when the divorce unless she asks for it

If Ashley files an injunction, as technically it is his surname, and she got the name thanks to him, then she can't use it.

she didn't have to marry him to change her name, legally you're allowed to call yourself whatever you want as long as it's not done to impersonate and such.

the reason why she'd want to keep cole is more to do with the fact it's the name printed in all the cds distributed all over the world, on all the press releases, downloads, banners, outdoor ads, tv adverts, graphics, etc.

It'd be a right pain to change it all.

she may well go back to tweedy but simply use cole as an alias or stage name.

Yep... as Ivana said at the time... don't get mad... get EVERYTHING.... even the name LOL.

Same for Tina Turner and I didn't see Angie Best offload the surname in too much of a hurry either.
