Has there ever been a death at Christmas in Corrie?

Most other soaps seem to connect Christmas with death, but I don't think Corrie has ever had a death at Christmas?

    I don't think anyone has actually died on Christmas day though xD

    No. After Janice left him for Dennis, Les tried to kill himself on New Year's day 2002 -- Dennis found him and rushed him to the hospital, crashing along the way. Dennis died the next day from injuries sustained in the accident.

    Well, Tony throttled Jed Stone on Christmas in 2008, but that doesnt count as he survived.

    Richard Hillman was going to kill Emily Bishop on the Xmas Day episode(s) of Corrie during Hillmania. Was about to smother her with a cushion but didn't.
