First ever kittens, we were taking 2 but the girl's new owner was allergic so we took her too (she's half norwegian forest cat).

    dare not show the pics to the missus as she'd go all awwwwww and want to cuddle them

    That norwegian one looks lovely but from experience its a maintenance nightmare especially if theres a botty problem and loads of fur = need for mind bleach afterwards

    Ooo I hadn't heard that...! We were going to get 2 Norwegians until we found out they're £700 each here!!!

    yes the tabby will need to be groomed every other day at least or SLH suffer terrible for matts your may not notice it on top but their undercoat. Also yes cleaning bits of poo of SLH arses can be a laugh...I find the rubber gloved brutal bucket dunk the best option:D

    Looking at some online images, I think my Lily may be part Norwegian Forest cat. You do get the odd toilet issue but anyone claiming 'nightmare' is exaggerating somewhat. If they get a poorly tummy it can be pretty grim but otherwise it's fine.
