So I have never been a huge fan of Eastenders, always watched it though.

Tonight though, with past characters coming back and clips shown reminicsing the relationships Frank had it brought a genuine tear!

Well done Eastenders!

Beautifully Done!

RIP Mike Reid :(

It was a brilliant episode, and I'm not trying to pick faults but where was Claire at her father's funeral?

We never even saw Claire much so even if the actress wouldn't of come back they could have got someone new.

Can't believe the episode wasn't dedicated to Mike though.

I think the only bad thing about the episode was Bianca being in it...

I'm glad she is back but it totally took it off par in my opinion!

Either way, it should win Best Single Episode Of The Year - I can't imagine anything beating it!

It completely kicked Corries (My Fave Soap) ass with their send off to Vera!

I don't think we needed a dedicated caption at the end of the credits. The whole episode, if not week, is a dedication to him and the fact they've done it so well and ensured they bring back those that were close to Frank makes it even more special. They've really raised the bar on this.

I actually thought it was interesting seeing the divide there.

Everyone smartly dressed, respectful, mourning.... cut to The Jacksons...

I thought it was quite well done really.

It was! Everyone has referred to this as Frank Week!

The genuiness of the acting was beautiful - I can say I think all of the tears were real!

They were, Sid (Ricky) said he cried real tears, as did everyone else there, also some of Mikes real life friends were there.

brilliant episode, made me cry. i think its excellent when they bring back old characters, makes it much more realistic.

only downside was ricky's new girlfriend

My Grandad died a month ago nearly, and so watching the funeral was a very hard thing to do tonight.

I thought it was very well done, and had me in tears, I rang my mum and her and my sister were both in tears watching it.

I was crying more because it was so soon after my Grandads funeral, but you could tell the actors werent just acting and were mourning the passing of Mike Reid as well.

I think it may be because viewers only really care about ricky diane and janine, if claire came there would be no point in us seeing much of her

It was amazing, considering the funeral only started in the last 12 minutes or so.

I watched the show from the 80s, and gave up around 2 years ago.

Tonight it was super! Really touching and emotional, with a little humour thrown in... Pat and Peggy practically re-enacting one of their most famous fight scenes, and the bow-tie! Superb!
