Yes - and it doesn't bother me in the slightest...

Why the fear and loathing xxtimbo?

I hate Google as a company and hate what they've done to YouTube.

But let's face it, they have the best search engine. :(

Yahoo isn't that great, the others are awful.

Google Chrome is too bare for my liking. It takes far too long to access bookmarks. Firefox is old-school Internet Explorer, and Internet Explorer these days is full of bugs and keeps crashing. You can't even surf the Apple website on IE.

Try Opera, it's all kinds of awesome.

I have absolutely no problem with Google knowing what I search for. They can't use the data for anything other than their own statistics and it'll be anonymous anyway.

How can it take too long to access bookmarks? All of mine are on buttons across the top taskbar, takes me nearly 0.2 nano seconds to reach mine!

I like Chrome because it's bare. IE ... what bugs? I use it just fine, including the Apple website. :)

One very annoying thing, which I think there's more to than just "because", is that the AdBlock extension has an option not to block adverts during YouTube videos, and if I enable it the videos on YouTube don't play at all (it actually says on YouTube to disable that option!).

Suspicious since in Firefox this doesn't happen.

I use Iron, which is chrome stripped off its spying stuff. i do like it, the browser is pretty fast and seems to work fine.

i would not use Chrome, so if Iron was not produced i would have stuck with Firefox.
