ChoccyCarole, I never quite understand your eating habits.

You don't usually list your meals until about late afternoon...! Do you not eat anything until then? From the looks of it you pig out until early evening then eat nothing until the following day. :P

    Hi Imej
Today I didn't eat anything till 5-45pm - which is very late for me ....
Starting to eat this late is not my usual routine
At night ~I do come here and list all the foods I've eaten in the whole day ..till I go to bed
and enjoy reading what everyone else has had

I sometimes start to eat as early as 10am..
but other times I will delay starting to eat my first food till about 1pm~
and will often eat several more times ...up until around 8pm
when I often end up having a snack

I thought today ..I would wait till I felt really peckish first.
...in the hope that I would cut down , on the total amount of food , and calories !!!! that I would eat before bed tonight

:)Your meals always sound so varied colourful and yummy Imej :)

    Breakfast:

2 slices of bacon, fried in salted butter. Then with the bacon fat I fried 2 eggs and some dirty fried bread after that to mop up the juices.

Mid morning: 4 mini mars bars (or crazy caramels from Tesco, I ain't made of money) and a bag of doritos.

Lunch: Ham, jalapeño, hot sauce, mayo, butter sandwich with more doritos and a few choccy mini bars for after

Afternoon snacks: various crisps and chewy sweets

Dinner: wotsits chip things from Iceland, a bit of old pork cooked in butter and a bit more fried bread.

Evening snacks: one more bag of doritos, a few more choccy miniatures and some toast and marmite.

Drinks throughout the day, mainly tea (3 sugars) and full fat milk.

Yum. Bring on tomorrow's breakfast I'm starving.

choccy carole - do you actually put a cottage pie on top of salad?
    Hi shmisk
yes :)~pretty much every day I put what ever hot meal I am having - on top of what ever salad I am having ~

I have a "huge" deep bowl of salad -more than once a day usually
and I've put many different Meals on top :-such as
[Morrison's ] - cottage pie - chicken curry and rice - Hot pot~ mince and veg~ country bake~spag bol -Fish pie -Chicken and mushroom bake~sausages and mash & all sorts of pasta meals

basically any meal goes well on a salad :):):)
I have done this for years ...and I enjoy every meal

On Sunday I had a mega slaw salad on a plate with all the Sunday roast potatoes and other cooked vegetables

For many years I have enjoyed hot food with a salad
even if it is just hot hot Mash or boiled potatoes
I love the contrast of hot and cold food together

It makes a meal last longer and is far more filling , interesting ~and tasty
and you avoid feeling hungry afterwards

I ALSO do not often get the feeling of being full :(~which is maybe why I try to eat sufficiently .. so that I won't still feel hungry and go eating again -soon after a meal
..I do not like to feel hungry !!!!~so try to make sure I eat enough at each meal
