1) The Novelty act never wins
2) The Tween Act isn't as popular as everyone thinks
3) Most importantly never trust any leaks on here

making up storys to sell the x factor product.

    ie

Matts 4 extra brothers crap &
Chers "i write all my own raps" and then sings other peoples music and passes it off as her own

First year watching it and will be the last.

Don't bother watching the auditions as the people with actual talent won't go through and the ones who can sell a few newspapers will.

    Blatant manipulation at every corner.

Biggest lesson of all is no matter who you vote for, no matter what "artist" you grow to love, all you're doing is lining the already vastly wealthy and powerful Cowell's pockets.

x factor will always continue no matter how much the talent they find declines.

That the public can't handle any act which deviates from the "stand still and sing ballads" archetype.

    - Forums are an unreliable guage of *anything* related to the show.
    - An act's press is everything.
    - People are far too quick to judge on the internet.
    - People are WAY over the top on the internet.
    - X Factor is srs business on the internet.
    - All about autotune! Or so it'd seem judging by people who had no clue what it was suddenly being experts.
    - I'll never like the joke act.
    - X Factor is only really fun if you don't have much else going on in your life.
    - Tabloids = Truth when about someone you hate
    - Tabloids = B/S when about someone you like

Alot is more from the forum than the show itself but you get the idea ;)

That in future Cheryl needs to be given the over 28's category in order not to be able to create another 'mini me'

Meh. Fair play to him getting as far as he did, but it's not what I enjoy watching. Same as Jedward last year except Wagner doesn't make me embarassed to be from Ireland..

That you can still make the final when you sound like a cats chorus and when the public have spoken and voted you off twice:D

That the judges should let the public decide who goes from the bottom two, except when it involves an act you like. That act should be saved by all four judges...otherwise, it's a FIX!!!!!!

Z-celebrity culture still rules the roost in the UK (media perception anyway) - anything of quality doesn't usually get a look in.
Broken Britain - how about Twisted Britain

Its not just the UK that has such quality....Jersey Shore anyone.
Its the way of showbiz, always has, always will.... except now there are more ways to keep the ball rolling.
If you were good, you made the papers and TV, now if you do something controversial you get famous.

I assume you're referring to Queen Cher?
