Searching for someone on facebook ?

I just found out something intriguing on another thread elsewhere that if a person looks up someone's group on there, that person is alerted as to who's been browsing.

Does that mean if I was to search for somebody, found them then clicked on their 'thumbnail' photo, they'd know it was me that looked them up?

I didn't think Facebook ever had any kind of tracking devices, at least that's what they've always claimed.

Yes. And it's all connected to a KGB or whatever they are called now.

Yes, I think that's it - I'm sure I spotted this earlier in the Advice section of the forums, so that triggered my fascination.

I'm not at all a fan in fact, I detest the thing, but kept a 'default' account to look for relatives, people I know and curious about etc.
