No, he's a married man I'm fairly sure

See, OP, now you only have to break that marriage and he's yours :p:D

Yes, but to a man or woman? ;)

A man being married to a woman does not necessarily mean he's straight, just like an unmarried man of any age does not mean he's gay. Many gay men who do not wish to come out the closet marry women and have children just to keep up appearances.

Perhaps he likes to keep his private life private

Is Brendon Coyle of Downton Abbey fame gay ? I have to know before I waste years fancying him like I did with Niles in Frasier.

    Not that I am aware.

He seems to be very popular

Not the best pic of him though in the article.

He first came to my 'attention' in Larkrise.;)

I was more surprised when it came out that Neil Patrick Harris /Dr Dougie Howser is.

I was watching HIMYM when I discovered that, given the characters misogyny I was very amused by that titbit :o:D

He must be a nice man because none of his conquests have ever said anything nasty about him in the tabloids. On the other hand he could be a very nasty man and that is the reason they don't say anything.

You do realise how offensive that is right? I am gay, I do not consider it wasteful...

Hazeltree, sorry I don't mean to be offensive to anyone. It's wasteful for the sake of the 'anyone' who would want him. I'm sure you are very happy with someone in your life and I wish you well. This was a little hearted easy going forum not meant o upset anyone. We all have our lives to live so why can't we just let everyone get on with theirs without falling out over a comment said lightheartedly.
As long as no one hurts I don't care what sexes fall for each other. But if he was to be gay, I would still feel as though I had lost out

Surely deserving of a separate discussion thread:
