COM7 at Divis isn't due to be switched on until 10 December. Though there may be some test signals about from time to time, you won't likely be getting anything at the moment. At sites where COM7 is already available, one should be able to watch Al Jazeera HD, and see placeholders for BBC Four, News and CBeebies HD.

The PMT, video and audio PIDs that were still in use on BBCB by the former LCN303 red button have been removed this morning. This may be to make way for the imminent arrival of a test BBC3/CBBC HD feed. I'll post again if anything appears.
Interesting that the graphic now has the COM7 channels on it as well, which could cause some confusion.
Good point. I see the MHEG plate currently showing on 105 simply says "New service launching soon" - we'll see at 7pm if the video and plate are able to switch over yet betwwen CBBC HD and BBC3 HD.
I already see that the PMT for CBBC HD (7100) is using the audio, video and subtitle pids in the 7000s which are logically more associated with BBC THREE HD's PMT at 7000 - so it looks hopeful that the PID sharing/switching is in place.

Al Jazerra Eng HD's EPG started at 11am on launch day- but they didn't launch at 11am. Yes, the EPG is almost certainly true- especially as this is the BBC, but I'd still call it circumstantial. The poster made such a plain "this is happening" statement on a thread that already contained the same info that I thought they'd actually read it somewhere, maybe a midnight embargoed press release, or a new blog post from Alix Pryde that I'd not spotted. It seems not.
The 10th December 2013 launch date has been circulating the net for around three months now.
We must remember that as of this moment, the BBC has not confirmed the launch date, and last month the BBC's Alix Pryde went out of her way not to mention a launch date.
It appears that the 10th December is the target date, and I hope all the technical and commercial arrangements do fall into place and that an announcement confirming the 10th December comes soon, otherwise there will be people on these forums accusing the BBC of failing to deliver even though the date's not been confirmed...
EPG data for all new BBC HD channels now running on satellite along with HD playout - but things like AD and subtitles still not yet running on all channels. These tests need to take place to allow the channels to meet Sky's entry requirements onto the platform.
It will not launch during the Christmas/Newyear lockdown.

Surprised they put that up considering all the channels shown will only be available from 30 transmitter sites. I would imagine some people are going to be disappointed when they find out that they will only get BBC3 HD and CBBC HD.

But .....
The main point of the additional two muxes (com7 and com8) is that the HD (and SD DVB-T2) services that they will contain will drive the uptake of DVB-T2 kit. So in that respect, they will be doing their job.

BBC 3HD and CBBC-HD are to be carried on the PSB 3 Mux, that is transmitted from every Freeview transmitter in the UK, so available to 99% of the population (1154 sites).
Al Jazz HD, BBC 4 HD, BBC News HD and CBeebies-HD are to be carried on a new Mux, COM7, but only from 30 sites (giving 70% population coverage) Your nearest site Wenvoe is due on the air this month, it might well be testing now, but that is your only hope of receiving COM 7 in Swansea.
All the new BBC HD services will be on Freesat and Sky though.

The transmitter you are receiving your channels off does not have the new Freeview Muxes activated. Only BBC Three HD & CBBC HD are guaranteed for everyone.

Whilst I take your point, as yet there is nothing to actually promote (in that there is no public go-live date). I suspect that some broadcasters are still putting in place the necessary kit and circuits, whilst Arqiva are still working hard against a Christmas freeze deadline (thus no-one want to commit at this stage).
And to be fair to Radio Times, they have already publshed editions taking subsribers up to Friday 20 December and so if Alix Pryde hasn't published the dates, neither might the now-independent-of-BBC Wordlwide Radio Times.

We have lots of circumstantial evidence for this, but do you have an actual confirmed source?
