I'm suprised Stevie doesn't bring Shirley Bassy and Lenny Henry on stage and make it REALLY obvious
maybe no-one has told Stevie that he's black?

They could do with microphones on the crowd I bet they're singing their hearts out to this

Yeah... you can barely hear the crowd at times and I'm sure they will be singing along

    How old is Rolf?

Have no idea, but I hope that he checked to see if there were any priests in the audience before singing two little boys.

    Love Madness :D

This concert would have been better with Adele and some other names like Queen, U2 and someone like Bryan Adams.

Madness are really really really poor live!

They are lacking a lot of energy in their voices.

I've seen them live and it doesn't really matter as everyone is having such a good time. Madness are just about the only band which can get me onto the dancefloor.

It's her Official Birthday today that's why he sang it! So there's no fail there.
Someone obviously told Grace Jones that too.

FFS people.... The date of her Coronation IS her official birthday!!!! So this whole celebration is also a birthday celebration!!!!!!!

It has been celebrated in the United Kingdom since 1748. There, the Queen's Official Birthday is now celebrated on the first, second, or third Saturday in June,[10] although it is rarely the third.

    Wikipedia: Queen's Offical Birthday

Trooping the Colour is on Sat 16 June (the 3rd Sat in June) so surely that must be the Queen's Official Birthday, and Stevie was singing it early. Right?

Coronation was on a Tuesday (2 June 1953)

    Never liked Madness.

And not quite the right act to do this on the roof thing. Should be fcuking rock!

agree a good Rock band would have been better, someone that can belt out the guitar riffs

How come no-one on here knows it's the queens birthday today? If the stars can remember surely someone else can..

    Here's the quote I found:

Her Offical Birthday is on 16th June when they have Trooping the Colour.

The anniversary of the Coronation is 2 June 1953, 59 years ago.

She ascended the throne on the death of her father in Feb 1952, Coronation in 1953.

    Where they get the exact 60 years from, heaven knows. :confused;

We are celebrating it now because it is summer and we should have great weather. :D:D:D *Thinks of Pageant! :D

    Now that's what I call the 1980s.

Why so much 1980s? I know we are in a recession and that bit really.

Although I would have loved to see Kate Bush on this tonight.

Kate Bush would have been great!;)

A pity that she keeps such a low profile:(
